Darbhanga Planetarium is Bihar's second planetarium/science museum (also known as Taramandal). It was built in Kadirabad Polytechnic Ground, Darbhanga in the Indian state of Bihar. [2]

History

The planetarium was built on a 21,000 square meter area with a budget of ₹92.8 crore in its first phase. [3] A total budget of 164 crore rupees was announced for construction work in 2018. The first phase was completed by December 2022. [4]

Planetarium features

The design was prepared by US architectural firm Chelsea West Architects. [5] This planetarium has 150 seats. [6] The auditorium has 300 seats. An orientation hall with 50 seats has been built. The planetarium has three shapes: elliptical, spherical, and dome-shaped. The dome size is 14 meters. The content is to be 3D. [7]

Planetarium timing

Four Shows in a day two 2D's and Two 3D's. Ticket Booking Will Be Online on this Site-https://dstbihar.softelsolutions.in/Default.aspx

2D show will be shown from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM, for which the entry time of the audience is fixed at 10:30 AM.

3D show will be shown from 12:15 PM to 01:00 PM, for which the entry time of the audience is fixed at 12:00 PM.

2D show will be shown from 02:15 PM to 03:00 PM, for which the entry time of the audience is fixed at 02:00 PM.

3D show will be shown from 03:15 PM to 04:00 PM, for which the entry time of the audience is fixed at 03:00 PM.

The Teen Murti Bhavan is a building and former residence in New Delhi. It was built by the British Raj and became the residence of the first Prime Minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, who stayed there for 16 years until his death on 27 May 1964. It was designed by Robert Tor Russell, the British architect of Connaught Place and of the Eastern and Western Courts on Janpath during the British Raj. The PCSO Lottery Draw is the television program that broadcasts the drawing of the nationally-franchised Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lotto games in the Philippines. The Indira Gandhi Planetarium, also known as the Patna Planetarium, is located in Patna's Indira Gandhi Science Complex. The planetarium was constructed through Bihar Council on Science & Technology at a total cost of about 110 million. It was conceptualised in 1989 by Bihar Chief Minister Shri Satyendra Narain Sinha with construction commencing in the same year, and opened for the public from 1 April 1993. It is named after senior Indian National Congress leader and former Prime Minister of India Indira Gandhi.

B. M. Birla Planetarium is a large planetarium in Chennai, India. The fifth B. M. Birla planetarium in the country, it is located at Kotturpuram in the Periyar Science and Technology Centre campus which houses eight galleries, namely, Physical Science, Electronics and Communication, Energy, Life Science, Innovation, Transport, International Dolls and Children and Materials Science, with over 500 exhibits. Built in 1988 in the memory of the great industrialist and visionary of India B. M. Birla, it is considered the most modern planetarium in India, providing a virtual tour of the night sky and holding cosmic shows on a specially perforated hemispherical aluminium inner dome. The Birla Planetarium in Kolkata, West Bengal, India, is a single-storeyed circular structure designed in the typical Indian style, whose architecture is loosely styled on the Buddhist Stupa at Sanchi. Situated at Chowringhee Road adjacent to the Victoria Memorial, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Maidan in Central Kolkata, it is the largest planetarium in Asia and the second largest planetarium in the world. Darbhanga Airport is a domestic airport and an Indian Air Force Station, serving Darbhanga, Bihar, India. It is located just at the outskirts of the city near the NH-105 and NH-57 highways, which passes through Darbhanga. The airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI). The foundation stone for the airport was laid by the then Chief Minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar, and the then Civil Aviation Minister, Suresh Prabhu, in the presence of the State Civil Aviation Minister, Jayant Sinha, on 24 December 2018. After efforts taken by the MP of Darbhanga, Gopal Jee Thakur, and the then Civil Aviation Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri. Commercial flights started on 8 November 2020.

Ajay Kumar Lallu is an Indian politician and a member of the 16th and 17th Legislative Assembly of Uttar Pradesh of India, and ex-president of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee. He represents the Tamkuhi Raj constituency in the Kushinagar district of Uttar Pradesh. He is a leader of Indian National Congress in Uttar Pradesh.

Mithila State Movement is a movement advocating a separate Mithila state in India. This movement gained momentum in 1902 AD when Sir George Grierson, an official of the British Indian government, prepared a map of Mithila state by conducting a language-based survey. In 1881 AD, the word Mithila was added to the dictionary of the British India government. According to the founder, president Dr. Dhanakar Thakur of the International Maithili Council in the proposed Mithila state, 24 districts of Bihar and six districts of Jharkhand, a total of 30 districts, have been included, which has a population of about 70 million. Nilkamal Singh Kushwaha is an Indian singer and actor, who is primarily known for his work in Bhojpuri Film Industry. He is a well established singer in the Bhojpuri music industry, and is known for his music albums. Singh is known for his sad songs in Bhojpuri music industry; in December 2022, his song Judai is said to have gained more viewership, leaving behind the Lal Ghagra of Pawan Singh for a long period of time after release, which led to his inclusion among one of the notable Bhojpuri singers of the industry. A resident of Buxar, Bihar, Singh started his career in 2003. He was one of the participant in the music reality show Sur Sangram, where he was eliminated after reaching in top four. Few years after becoming a part of Bhojpuri music industry, his songs started crossing hundred million views. According to media reports, his networth is somewhere around 14 crores. He releases most of his music videos on his official YouTube channel, and in most of his songs, Bhojpuri artist Shristi Uttrakhandi appears to his opposite.

Dharamnirpeksh Sevak Sangh is an Indian Non-governmental Organisation founded by Tej Pratap Yadav on April 2, 2017. It was formally announced by Yadav to counter Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh of Mohan Bhagwat.
