Daria Pavlovna Avtonomova (born 24 April 1996) is a retired Russian rhythmic gymnast. [1]
In 2013, Daria was noticed by Irina Viner at the Russian Championships where she performed as a group gymnast, she was then invited to a training camp in the national team base in Novogorsk. [2]
In 2014, she entered the Russian senior national group, [3] making her debut at the World Cup in Stuttgart where the group won gold in both event finals. [4] In May 2014 she won gold in the All-Around and with 3 balls & 2 ribbons as well as silver with 10 clubs at the stage in Tashkent. [5] At the European Championships in Baku in June, she won gold in the All-Around and in the mixed event as well as silver with 5 pairs of clubs. [6] In early September the group took part in the last World Cup of season in Kazan, winning bronze in the mixed event and gold in both the All-Around and with 10 clubs. [7] In September Daria was selected for her maiden World Championships in Izmir. There, along Anastasia Maksimova, Aleksandra Semenova, Diana Borisova, Anastasiia Tatareva and Maria Tolkacheva, she took 4th place in the All-Around and gold with 3 balls & 2 ribbons, the only final the group qualified for. In February 2015, Russian won silver overall and gold in the two finals at the Grand Prix in Moscow. [9] Then she won gold with 5 ribbons at the World Cup in Lisbon. [10] In April the group took 6th place in both event finals at the stage in Pesaro. [11] After that she joined the reserve group that was preparing for the Universiade in Gwangju, South Korea. There Daria, Anastasia Osipova, Arina Nikishova, Daria Kolobova, Iuliia Kosyreva and Valentina Kalinina, won gold in the All-Around and with 5 ribbons as well as bronze with 3 pairs of clubs & 2 hoops. [12] [13] After that she was awarded the title of Honored Master of Sports. [14]
In 2016, she participated in the training camps in Israel and Croatia, before the Olympics she trained with the main team in São Paulo and was the first substitute, but never performed in Rio. [15] At the end of 2016 she decided to end her gymnastics career and started working as a coach. [16]
Melitina Dmitryevna Staniouta is a Belarusian retired individual rhythmic gymnast. She is a three-time World all-around bronze medalist, the 2015 European Games all-around bronze medalist, the 2014 European Championships all-around silver medalist, and 2009 Grand Prix Final all-around bronze medalist.
Margarita Mamun is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2016 Olympic All-around champion, two-time World All-around silver medalist, the 2015 European Games All-around silver medalist, the 2016 European Championships All-around silver medalist, three-time Grand Prix Final All-around champion and a three-time (2011–2013) Russian National All-around champion.
Daria Dmitrievna Svatkovskaya is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2012 Russian National All-around silver medalist. She retired in August 2014, due to a serious back injury.
Salome Pazhava is a former Georgian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is Georgia's most successful rhythmic gymnast after Irina Gabashvili. She finished 4th in All-around at the 2015 World Championships.
Linoy Ashram is a retired Israeli individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2020 Olympic All-around Champion, the 2018 World All-around silver medalist, two-time World All-around bronze medalist, the 2020 European All-around champion, and the 2019 European Games All-around silver medalist. Daria Sergeyevna Trubnikova is a retired Russian individual rhythmic gymnast. She is the 2018 Youth Olympic Games individual all-around champion, the 2018 European Junior Clubs and Team champion, the 2019 Grand Prix Final all-around gold medallist and the 2021 World Cup Baku all-around gold medallist. On the national level, she is the 2018 Russian Junior all-around bronze medalist. In January 2023, Trubnikova announced her retirement.
