Dark Moor is the fourth full-length album of the spanish neoclassical power metal band Dark Moor.
Shortly before releasing The Gates of Oblivion , the band announced their split. Due to musical differences, Elisa C. Martín, Albert Maroto and Jorge Saez left the band, and formed Dreamaker. Enrik García and Anan Kaddouri remained with Dark Moor. Alfred Romero joined the band as the new lead singer. José Garrido (guitars) joined shortly after, followed by Andy C. on the drums.
The band traveled to Italy to record their self-titled album at the New Sin Studio. The album was recorded and mixed by Luigi Stefanini. It was produced by Luigi Stefanini and Dark Moor. [1] All songs were written by Enrik García, and most of the lyrics were written by the lyricist Francisco José García.
Nightfall in Middle-Earth is the sixth studio album by the German power metal band Blind Guardian. It was released on 28 April 1998 through Virgin Records. It is a concept album based on J. R. R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion, a book of tales from the First Age of Middle-earth, recounting the troubled history of Beleriand as the Elves battle with the Dark Lord Morgoth. The album contains not only songs but also spoken parts narrating parts of the story. The cover depicts a scene from The Silmarillion, the elf Lúthien dancing in front of the Dark Lord Morgoth.
Pendragon are an English neo-prog band established in 1978 in Stroud, Gloucestershire as Zeus Pendragon by guitarist and vocalist Nick Barrett. The word Zeus was dropped before the band started recording, as the members decided it was too long to look good on a T-shirt. There were a few personnel changes in the early days, but since 1986 the lineup has remained relatively stable and the band are still active as of 2024.
Dark Moor is a Spanish symphonic power metal band from Madrid. Formed in 1993, they produced three full-length albums before undergoing a line-up change in which three members left the band to form their own project, Dreamaker. Afterwards, the band continued under the same name, recruiting suitable replacements in time for their eponymous 2003 album. Since 2002, guitarist Enrik Garcia has been the band's sole remaining founding member.

Naschy was bestowed Spain's Gold Medal of Merit in the Fine Arts in 2001.

Víctor García stated on the band's website that the name of the songs had pretty much nothing to do with the meaning of the lyrics, e.g. "El Cazador" "doesn't talk about the profession of being hunter, but the word's darker side, where killer would be the right way to describe it.

Tarot is the sixth full-length album by the Spanish power metal band Dark Moor. The songs of the album are all named after the Major Arcana deck in the Tarot card game. The first single extracted from the album was "The Chariot". Manda Ophuis of the Dutch symphonic metal band Nemesea is the guest female vocalist on Tarot. The final track, "the Moon", samples Ludwig van Beethoven's "Symphony No. 5" and "Moonlight Sonata". The bonus track, "Mozart's March" is based on Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's "Rondo A'la Turca". It was also performed live in Granada, Spain, Piorno Rock, back in 2002, five years before it was even released.
