Darlington Rutendo Matambanadzo (born 13 April 1976) is a former Zimbabwean first-class cricketer who is the twin brother of Test cricketer Everton Matambanadzo.
Born in Harare,Zimbabwe,Matambanadzo started playing for Harare Club side Old Hararians. [1] He attended Eaglesvale School. [2] Matambanadzo debuted for Zimbabwe U/19s in July 1993 and made a development tour to South Africa before making his first-class debut aged 17 years,276 days on 14 January 1994 at Queens Sports Club for Mashonaland Under 24s against Matabeleland,taking one wicket for 24 and none for 10 and remaining unbeaten on zero. Matambanadzo took his best bowling figures of four wickets for 52 runs against Mashonaland Country Districts in September 1994 [4] which led to selection against the touring Sri Lankan cricket side.
Matambanadzo's cricketing development was postponed as he entered the University of Zimbabwe,initially to study Accountancy before switching to Economics. [1] Matambanadzo then found it difficult to regain his cricketing form and after struggling in domestic cricket,considered retiring from cricket [1] to concentrate on his job as a financial consultant.
Matambanadzo began to develop his batting more and made his highest first-class score of 80 for Mashonaland against Manicaland but was still unable to break into the Zimbabwean side. He caused controversy in 2004 when he failed to play in a number of matches for Mashonaland for a month without an excuse. [5] Matambanadzo played his final match in Zimbabwe,a List A match for Manicaland against Midlands at Alexandra Sports Club,Harare on 5 February 2006,scoring one and taking no wicket for seven from one over [6] before moving to Blantyre,Malawi to teach cricket and hockey in Saint Andrew's International High School between 2007 and 2008. Henry Khaaba Olonga is a Zimbabwean former cricketer,who played Test and One Day International (ODI) cricket for Zimbabwe. In domestic first-class cricket in Zimbabwe,Olonga played for Matabeleland,Mashonaland and Manicaland. When he made his Test debut in January 1995,he was the first black cricketer and the youngest person to play for Zimbabwe. He was a regular member of the Zimbabwe team from 1998 to 2003. He featured in three World Cup tournaments in 1996,1999 and 2003. During his playing days,he formed a rivalry against former Indian veteran batsman Sachin Tendulkar whenever Zimbabwe and India played against each other in international cricket. He was also regarded as Zimbabwe cricket's poster boy.
Prosper Utseya is a retired Zimbabwean cricketer,who plays all formats of the game. He was the former captain of Zimbabwe from 2006 to 2010. He bowls right-arm off break and is a useful right-hand batsman. Utseya has not played any form of cricket since 2015.
Douglas Anthony Marillier,known as Dougie Marillier,is a former Zimbabwean cricketer,who played Tests and One Day International cricket for the national side.

Dirk Peter Viljoen is a former cricketer who played 2 Tests and 53 One Day Internationals for Zimbabwe. An allrounder,Viljoen bowled slow left arm orthodox and batted in the middle order,left-handed. He won Zimbabwe's Young Cricketer of the Year Award in 1996–97 and was granted a scholarship to the Australian Cricket Academy.
Charles Kevin Coventry is a Zimbabwean cricketer. He is a right-handed batsman and occasional wicket-keeper.
Kyle Malcolm Jarvis is a Zimbabwean former cricketer who represented Zimbabwe and played for Lancashire. The son of another former Zimbabwean international cricketer Malcolm Jarvis,he was educated at St John's College,Harare,where he excelled at rugby and cricket. Kyle was a key bowler for Zimbabwe in the 2008 Under-19 World Cup and he also played for the Zimbabwe U-19 Rugby Team. He was coached by Zimbabwean veteran seamer Heath Streak. He was one of the fastest bowlers to have played for Zimbabwe bowling at 140 km/h very often during his early career. On 17 June 2021,Jarvis retired from all forms of cricket after battling a trio of illnesses earlier this year.
Richard Grant Halsall is a former Zimbabwean cricketer. Halsall was a right-handed batsman who bowled right-arm fast-medium. He was born at Salisbury,Rhodesia.
The Mashonaland Eagles is one of five cricket Zimbabwean cricket franchises. They are based in the Harare Metropolitan and Mashonaland Central area and play both first-class and limited overs cricket. They play their home matches at Harare Sports Club in Harare.

This tournament was started after the Zimbabwean cricket crisis,recommended by the International Cricket Council (ICC). It is jointly sponsored by Metbank and Coca-Cola.
