Darryl Yung (born 5 August 1972) is a Canadian badminton player. He competed in two events at the 1996 Summer Olympics. [1]
In 2003, Yung founded ClearOne Badminton Centres with his first location in Richmond, BC. They have since launched additional locations in Calgary and Orlando. [2]
Kim Dong-moon is a retired South Korean badminton player who won major titles between the mid-1990s and the mid-2000s (decade), and widely regarded as one of finest men's doubles and mixed doubles players in badminton history. Kim captured the world attention when he unexpectedly winning the gold medal in the mixed doubles event with Gil Young-ah at the 1996 Atlanta Summer Olympics. On his path to greatness, he won gold medals both in men's and mixed doubles at the 1999 World Championships. Kim and Ra Kyung-min, partnered up to become one of the strongest mixed doubles pairings of that time. They did not drop a single match from April to November in 2003. They won 10 straight victorious tournaments: 9 consecutive Grand Prix events and one World Championship title. Their excellent results in 2003 earned Kim and Ra the Eddie Choong Player of the Year award. He captured this award previously by himself in 2002. Despite their domination, the golden couple crashed in the second round against the Danish partnership of Jonas Rasmussen and Rikke Olsen at the 2004 Athens Olympics. Kim however redeemed himself with a gold medal in men's doubles with Ha Tae-kwon. After the 2004 Olympics, Kim retired from playing and married his former mixed doubles partner, Ra in 2005. Kim is currently the only South Korean player to have ever won Olympic gold in both the men's and mixed doubles events. He was inducted into the BWF Hall of Fame in 2009.

Nicole Grether is a badminton player from Germany. She competed at the 2000 Sydney and 2004 Athens Summer Olympics.
Mike Beres is a male badminton player from Canada, who won the bronze medal in the men's doubles competition at the 1999 Pan American Games. He was born in Brantford, Ontario.
Badminton at the 1996 Summer Olympics included the four events as well as a new event: mixed doubles. An additional change to the tournament was the playoff game for the bronze medal rather than the awarding of two bronzes. The tournament was single-elimination. Matches consisted of three sets, with sets being to 15 except. The tournament was held at the Georgia State University gymnasium.

Anil Kaul is a retired male badminton player from Canada, who won the gold medal in the inaugural men's doubles competition at the 1995 Pan American Games. He did so alongside Iain Sydie. A resident of Victoria, Manitoba, he represented Canada at the 1992 and 1996 Summer Olympics.

She has won gold in both singles and doubles at the Pan American Games and won the singles and team event titles from the Pan American Badminton Championships. As a competitor for Ontario, Li also won singles, doubles, and mixed team titles at the 2011 Canada Winter Games.
Mary Alexandra "Alex" Bruce is a Canadian badminton player from Toronto, Ontario. She competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Women's doubles event with partner Michelle Li.
Tobias Ng is a Canadian badminton player. Born and raised in Vancouver, British Columbia, Ng's father is from Hong Kong and his mother from Macau. He started playing badminton at the Kensington Community Centre, when he was about six years old. He competed at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the mixed doubles event with partner Grace Gao. His younger brother, Derrick Ng, is also an elite level player. Since 2020, Toby coaches advanced to professional level athletes at the Bellevue Badminton Club.
Rachel Honderich is a Canadian badminton player from Toronto, Ontario. She has been one of the top ranked women's individual and doubles player on the continent and a contender in major international competitions. She is a vice-national champion in women's singles and has won several international titles since 2010.

Yakura, who grew up in Pickering, Ontario, currently lives in Toronto and trains at the KC Badminton Club in Markham. He has Japanese and Indonesian heritage.

Joshua Hurlburt-Yu is a Canadian badminton player. Joshua was a gold medalist in the mixed doubles event at the 2019 Lima Pan American Games, and also at the 2019 and 2021 Pan Am Championships.
