Shatabdi Express are a series of fast passenger trains operated by Indian Railways. Shatabdi Express are day trains and mostly return to their origin station the same day. The trains run at a maximum permissible speed of 110–150 km/h (68–93 mph) with the Rani Kamalapati–New Delhi Shatabdi Express achieving the maximum permissible speed of 150 km/h (93 mph) between Tughlakabad and Bilochpura Agra.
The 12033 / 12034 Kanpur–New Delhi Shatabdi Express is the Shatabdi train connecting Kanpur Central with New Delhi. The load of passengers in Lucknow Swarna Shatabdi Express was heavy from Kanpur Central. Due to the excessive passenger load on Lucknow Shatabdi from Kanpur Central and huge demand for a separate Shatabdi train from Kanpur Central, the Railway Ministry declared the new Shatabdi train from Central Station in 2009 Railway Budget. This train was flagged off by Union Railways minister Mamata Banerjee on 7 Feb 2010. It runs on all days of a week except Sunday.

The 12035 / 36 Jaipur Agra Fort Shatabdi Express was a Superfast Express train of the Shatabdi Express category belonging to Indian Railways - North Western Railway zone that ran between Jaipur and Agra in India. The train services were terminated from May 1, 2018. And it is no longer in service from Jaipur to Agra. But a new train was introduced from Ajmer to Agra Fort Intercity and will soon convert to Jp-Af Jan Shatabdi Express. This train has been launched instead of Jp-Af Shatabdi Express.
