David Thomas Mason is an English singer-songwriter and guitarist from Worcester, who first found fame with the rock band Traffic. Over the course of his career, Mason has played and recorded with many notable pop and rock musicians, including Paul McCartney, George Harrison, the Rolling Stones, Jimi Hendrix, Eric Clapton, Michael Jackson, David Crosby, Graham Nash, Steve Winwood, Fleetwood Mac, Delaney & Bonnie, Leon Russell, and Cass Elliot. One of Mason's best known songs is "Feelin' Alright", recorded by Traffic in 1968 and later by many other performers, including Joe Cocker, whose version of the song was a hit in 1969. For Traffic, he also wrote "Hole in My Shoe", a psychedelic pop song that became a hit in its own right. "We Just Disagree", Mason's 1977 solo U.S. hit, written by Jim Krueger, has become a staple of U.S. classic hits and adult contemporary radio playlists.
Firefall is an American country rock band that formed in Boulder, Colorado, in 1974. It was founded by Rick Roberts, former member of the Flying Burrito Brothers, and Jock Bartley, who had been Tommy Bolin's replacement in Zephyr. The band's biggest hit single, "You Are the Woman", peaked at No. 9 on the Billboard chart in 1976. Other hits included "Just Remember I Love You", "Strange Way", "Cinderella", "Headed for a Fall", and "Staying with It".

It features a live concert recorded in Buenos Aires on October 9, 2005 at the Obras Sanitarias Stadium. The performance is segued by cuts of Dave and Glen performing a few acoustic songs for some fans on the lawn outside of the band's hotel. It was at this concert that Dave Mustaine announced that Megadeth would continue on past the 2005 tour.

Celebration – Forty Years of Rock is an album by British rock band Uriah Heep. It mainly features rerecorded classics – which, said bassist Trevor Bolder, "chose themselves, really. The likes of 'Sunrise', 'Gypsy' and 'Look at Yourself' are songs we still play today. We just went in and redid them. [Drummer] Russell [Gilbrook] is a bit of an animal, so they sound livelier than ever." Two tracks were written specifically for this release: 'Only Human' and 'Corridors of Madness'. A double special edition, in digipak format, features a live DVD recorded at the Sweden Rock Festival. A collector's edition adds a vinyl single; its two songs also recorded at the Sweden Rock Festival, and not included on the DVD.
The Grohl Sessions, Vol. 1 is an extended play which was released by the Zac Brown Band on December 10, 2013. Originally released only to digital retailers, it was physically released on May 19, 2014. The physical release includes a 45-minute DVD on the creation of the album.
