  1. 1 2 Music critic and author Richie Unterberger writes: "The credit of the album's production to Hendrix did not sit well with Chas Chandler, who had been particularly vital to Hendrix's career, and had indeed produced some of the tracks". [2] Hendrix also received a partial production credit on the US edition of the Experience's Smash Hits for "All Along the Watchtower". [3]
