The United States Hockey League (USHL) is the top junior ice hockey league sanctioned by USA Hockey. The league consists of 16 active teams located in the Midwestern United States and Great Plains, for players between the ages of 16 and 21. The USHL is strictly amateur, allowing former players to compete in National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) college hockey.
The Sioux City Musketeers are a junior ice hockey team based in Sioux City, Iowa. The Musketeers play their home games at Tyson Events Center, and are members of the Western Conference of the United States Hockey League (USHL). The team was founded in 1972, and has won three Anderson Cups as the regular season champion, and four Clark Cups as the playoffs champion of the USHL.

Michael Lee is an American former professional ice hockey goaltender who most notably split time between the Portland Pirates of the American Hockey League (AHL) and the Gwinnett Gladiators of the ECHL as a prospect in the National Hockey League's Arizona Coyotes system. He was drafted in the third round by the Phoenix Coyotes in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft. Lee was born in Fargo, North Dakota, but grew up in Roseau, Minnesota. He is currently an Assistant Coach at St Cloud State.

Mathias Emilio Pettersen is a Norwegian professional ice hockey player for the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League (AHL) while under contract to the Dallas Stars of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected by the Calgary Flames in the 2018 NHL Entry Draft and previously played collegiate ice hockey with the University of Denver of the National Collegiate Hockey Conference (NCHC) and junior for the Omaha Lancers and Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League (USHL). Pettersen's early career was met with great expectations. Supporters and newspapers started covering his career when he was 6 years old.
Joel "Joey" Daccord is a Swiss-Canadian-American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Seattle Kraken of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was selected 199th overall by the Ottawa Senators in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Isaiah Saville is an American professional ice hockey goaltender for the Henderson Silver Knights of the American Hockey League (AHL) as a prospect to the Vegas Golden Knights of the National Hockey League (NHL). He previously played junior in the North American Hockey League (NAHL) with the Minnesota Magicians and the United States Hockey League (USHL) with the Tri-City Storm, as well as NCAA collegiate hockey with the Omaha Mavericks.
Jacob Fowler is an American college ice hockey goaltender for Boston College of the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). He was selected in the third round, 69th overall, by the Montreal Canadiens of the National Hockey League (NHL) in the 2023 NHL Entry Draft.
