David Michael Curtis (born 10 April 1965) is a former Zimbabwean-born Irish rugby union international. He also played some first-class cricket while at Oxford University.
Curtis was born in Salisbury,the capital city of Rhodesia,now known as Zimbabwe. He made his debut for Ireland against Wales in the 1991 Five Nations. He represented Ireland at the World Cup later that year,scoring a try in the pool stage against his country of birth and participating in their losing quarter-final team. In all he was capped for Ireland on 13 occasions and scored his only other points courtesy of a drop goal in an international friendly against Namibia.
He qualified for Ireland through his father Arthur who had also represented his country as a wing forward in 1950. [1]
His four first-class cricket matches were for Oxford University in 1990,playing against Leicestershire,Glamorgan,Nottinghamshire and Cambridge. A right-handed batsman,he made 89 runs at 22.25.
He now lives in Zimbabwe,making a living through selling wine and craft beer. He has three sons,Angus who currently plays for Ulster, [2] Graham and Simon,and a daughter Annabel. [3]

Guy James Whittall is a former Zimbabwean international cricketer who played 46 Test matches and 147 One Day Internationals (ODIs) and captained Zimbabwe in four ODIs. He played as an all-rounder and was known as an aggressive middle-order batsman and an effective medium pace bowler. Whittall escaped from a leopard attack on 25 April 2024 with injuries.

Richard Averill Lloyd was an Irish cricketer and rugby union player. At cricket,he was a right-handed batsman and right-arm medium pace bowler who played two first-class matches for the Ireland cricket team,also playing for Lancashire. In rugby union,he was a fly-half who played 19 times for the Ireland national rugby union team,scoring 72 points,and was regarded as one of the best goal-kickers of his time. He is regarded by his school,Portora Royal School,as one of their most famous pupils,alongside Samuel Beckett and Oscar Wilde.
