David T. Isaacson is a United States Army lieutenant general who has served as the director of command, control, communications, and computer and chief information officer of the Joint Staff since December 2023. [2] He most recently served as the director of manpower and personnel of the Joint Staff since June 2022 to December 2023. [3] He previously served as the Chief of Staff of the United States Cyber Command. Previously, he served as the Director of Architecture, Operations, Networks, and Space of the United States Army. James E. Rainey is a United States Army general who serves as the commanding general of United States Army Futures Command since 4 October 2022. He previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff for Operations, Plans, and Training (G-3/5/7) from June 2021 to October 2022. Before that, he served as commanding general of the United States Army Combined Arms Center, commandant of the United States Army Command and General Staff College and commanding general of Fort Leavenworth. Prior to that, he commanded the Combined Security Transition Command – Afghanistan. Rainey was born in Brockton, Massachusetts but grew up in Akron, Ohio. He attended Eastern Kentucky University and was commissioned in 1987 as an infantry officer through ROTC.
Paul T. Calvert is a retired United States Army lieutenant general who last served as the deputy commanding general and chief of staff of the United States Army Forces Command from 2021 to 2024. He served as the Commander of the Combined Joint Task Force – Operation Inherent Resolve from 2020 to 2021.
