David William Worsley Norris (born 1 May 1946) is a former English first-class cricketer who played for Cambridge University in 1967 and 1968. [1]
David Norris attended Harrow School,where he captained the First XI,before going up to Selwyn College,Cambridge. [2] He was Cambridge's regular wicket-keeper for the 1967 and 1968 seasons,gaining his blue in each year. [3]

While Norris continued acting,friend and student Steve McQueen suggested he take it seriously. Norris took the starring role in the action film Breaker! Breaker! (1977),which turned a profit. His second lead,Good Guys Wear Black (1978),became a hit,and he soon became a popular action film star.
Walker,Texas Ranger is an American action crime television series created by Leslie Greif and Paul Haggis. It was inspired by the film Lone Wolf McQuade,with both this series and that film starring Chuck Norris as a member of the Texas Ranger Division. The show aired on CBS in the spring of 1993,with the first season consisting of three pilot episodes. Eight full seasons followed with new episodes airing from September 25,1993,to May 19,2001,and reruns continuing on CBS until July 28,2001. It has been broadcast in over 100 countries and spawned a 2005 television film entitled Trial by Fire. The film ended on a cliffhanger,which was never resolved. DVD sets of all seasons have been released. At various times since 1997,reruns of the show have aired,in syndication,on the USA Network and Action in Canada. Donald Lynden-Bell CBE FRS was a British theoretical astrophysicist. He was the first to determine that galaxies contain supermassive black holes at their centres,and that such black holes power quasars. Lynden-Bell was President of the Royal Astronomical Society (1985–1987) and received numerous awards for his work,including the inaugural Kavli Prize for Astrophysics. He worked at the University of Cambridge for his entire career,where he was the first director of its Institute of Astronomy.
Henry Vernon Howell was a Canadian professional hockey player and longtime star for the New York Rangers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He played in the NHL and then the World Hockey Association (WHA) between 1952 and 1976. After his playing career Howell briefly worked as a coach in both leagues,as well as the general manager of the Cleveland Barons in the NHL during the 1977–78 season.
