Left-arm unorthodox spin,also known as slow left-arm wrist spin,is a type of spin bowling in the sport of cricket. Left-arm unorthodox spin bowlers use wrist spin to spin the ball,and make it deviate,or 'turn' from left to right after pitching. The direction of turn is the same as that of a traditional right-handed off spin bowler,although the ball will usually turn more sharply due to the spin being imparted predominantly by the wrist.

Dale Willem Steyn is a South African former professional cricketer who played for the South African cricket team. He is regarded by many as the greatest bowler of the Modern Era. Steyn's late swing combined with sheer pace was one of the peculiar qualities which made him stand apart from other bowlers. Many cricketing legends has regarded his length deliveries unplayable when the ball swung. During the 2007–08 season,Steyn achieved a tally of 78 wickets at an average of 16.24,and was subsequently rewarded with the ICC 2008 Test Cricketer of the Year Award. He was named one of the Wisden Cricketers of the Year in 2013,and the Wisden Leading Cricketer in the World for the year 2013 in 2014's Wisden Cricketers' Almanack. In December 2015 he injured his shoulder in the Durban Test against England ;after this injury his career was a short lived one as it was followed by multiple injuries;these injuries were the reason why many cricketing greats didn't even consider post 2015 Steyn as "The Dale Steyn" which the batsmen feared to face. He was featured in Wisden Cricketers of the Decade at the end of 2019. He also was included in the ICC Test Team of the Decade at the end of 2020.
Kerry Peter Walmsley is a New Zealand former international cricketer. He played three Test matches and two One Day Internationals for the national side between 1995 and 2003 as a fast bowler. In domestic cricket Walmsley played for Auckland from the 1994–95 season until 1999–2000,Otago from 2000–01 to 2002–03,and Auckland again from 2003–04 to 2005–06.

Alan Paul Igglesden was an English Test cricketer. He played three Test matches and four One Day Internationals (ODIs) for the England cricket team between 1989 and 1994 as a fast bowler. He played most of his first-class cricket career for Kent County Cricket Club,taking 592 wickets for the club.
David Graham Sewell is a former New Zealand cricketer. He played one Test match for New Zealand against Zimbabwe in 1997. He played first-class cricket for Otago between the 1995–96 season and 2005–06.
The Zimbabwe national cricket team toured South Africa in October and November 1999 and played one Test match against the South Africa national cricket team. They also competed in the 2000 Standard Bank Triangular Tournament in January and February,playing six One Day International (ODI) matches against South Africa and England. Peter Matthew Siddle is an Australian cricketer. He has played Test cricket for Australia over an eight-year period from 2008 to 2016,before being recalled for the Test series against Pakistan in 2018. Peter Siddle retired from International cricket in December 2019. During his time with Australia,Siddle won the 2009 ICC Champions Trophy.
In 2016,Kent County Cricket Club competed in Division Two of the County Championship,the Royal London One-Day Cup and the NatWest t20 Blast. The season was the fifth,and last,in charge for head coach Jimmy Adams and the first for new club captain Sam Northeast,who took over from Robert Key at the end of the 2015 season,having captained the side on the field for much of the season.
