David Zowie Canada Batt [1] (born 30 April 1981), [2] [3] known professionally as David Zowie, is an English DJ and record producer. He is best known for his song "House Every Weekend", which topped the UK Singles Chart in July 2015.
Zowie was born in Chatham, Kent. [4] He has stated that he was named after David Bowie, as his father was a huge fan, and was once called "David Zowie Ziggy Stardust Aladdin Sane Thin White Duke Twig The Wonder Kid" before his mother changed his name by deed poll. [3] Zowie started producing music at age 12, when he bought a pair of wooden decks and then SoundLabs, commencing production when he was 14. Two years later he bought a pair of Technics SL-1200 from a club he was playing at. [5] He has also operated using an Atari ST. [6]
Zowie is best known for his 2015 song "House Every Weekend", which topped the UK Singles Chart, having debuted at number 80 [7] and made its way to number 52 entirely based on streams. [8] On 8 July 2015, the Official Charts Company announced that it was number one in the Official Chart Update, and was scheduled to be the UK's first Friday number one in 55 years (they moved the date the chart was announced from Sunday to Friday, giving it five days of sales). [8]
The song reached the top spot in the UK Singles Chart on 10 July 2015, [1] and that same day, it debuted at number 62 in the Irish Singles Chart. [9] The record topped the UK Dance Chart [10] and charted at number 19 on the Irish Singles Chart. [11]

Best of Bowie is a greatest hits album by English recording artist David Bowie. Released in October 2002, four months after the critical and commercial success of the Heathen album, the songs range from his second album, David Bowie (1969) to Heathen (2002). A DVD, also titled Best of Bowie, was also released.
"Papercut" is a song by American rock band Linkin Park. It was released as the third international single from their debut album Hybrid Theory (2000) and appears as the opening track on the record. The song reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart in 2001 and was in the chart for 6 weeks. It also reached number 32 on the Modern Rock Tracks Chart in 2002. Zoe Fleury,better known by her stage name Zowie, is a singer-songwriter and drummer from New Zealand. Zowie has toured with artists Katy Perry, Mark Ronson, The Kills and Peaches. She was previously called Bionic Pixie. She later changed her name to Zowie, and released her debut single "Broken Machine", which entered the Top 10 on the Official New Zealand Music Chart. Her debut album, Love Demolition, peaked at number 31 on the New Zealand Top 40 Album chart. Fleury is also one half of the duo 'The Bengal Lights', playing the drums.
English recording artist Olly Murs has released seven studio albums, twenty-five singles and twenty one music videos on recording labels Epic and Sony subsidiary Syco. Live at the Royal Albert Hall is the debut live album by Scottish recording artist Emeli Sandé. The album was released on 18 February 2013. The set features the headline concert filmed at London's Royal Albert Hall on 11 November 2012. The set includes Sandé's hit singles, and songs from her number one selling debut album Our Version of Events. The set also includes a cover from one of Sandé's idols, Nina Simone, as well as two new songs, "Enough" and "Pluto". Professor Green made a brief appearance during "Read All About It, Pt.
