Babine Lake Marine Provincial Park is a provincial park in British Columbia, Canada. The park was established by Order-in-Council in 1993, comprising two sites at Pendleton Bay totalling 36.9 hectares. Another was established in the same year at Smithers Landing, comprising approximately 157.8 hectares. Three more sites were added in 2001, Hook (Deep) Bay, Pierre Creek, Pinkut Creek and Sandpoint. All sites combined comprise approximately 492 hectares.

The West Okement is a river in north Dartmoor in Devon in south-west England. It rises at West Okement Head near Cranmere Pool and flows in a generally NW direction past Black-a-Tor Copse and into Meldon Reservoir. After exiting the reservoir it flows in a generally northeast direction towards Okehampton, where it joins the East Okement River to form the River Okement. Its total length is roughly 10 miles.
The Gatehaus is an eleven floor residential glass building located in Bradford, West Yorkshire in England. Developed by Asquith Properties, construction began in 2005 and was completed in May 2007. The total cost of the project was £22 million. The building won a number of awards in 2008, including "Building of the Year" at the Bradford District Design Awards, "Best City Centre Development" at the Resi Props Awards, and the "Design Excellence Award" at the Insider Property Awards.

U-794 was a Type XVIIA U-boat of Nazi Germany's Kriegsmarine during the Second World War. She was one of a small number of U-boats fitted with Hellmuth Walter's high test peroxide propulsion system, which offered a combination of air-independent propulsion and high submerged speeds. She spent the war as a trials vessel and was scuttled on 5 May 1945 in Gelting Bay.

Directly across North Bayshore Drive, three large condominium complexes that were built in the 2000s housing and economic bubble overlook the park. The park underwent a $4 million renovation during this time. An even larger building is under construction adjacent the park As of 2015. The historic Miami Women's Club building is located directly to the south of the park.
