Coal Grove is a village in Lawrence County, Ohio, United States, along the Ohio River. The population was 2,165 at the 2010 census. It borders the city of Ironton and lies across the Ohio River from Ashland, Kentucky. It is linked to Ashland by the Ben Williamson Memorial Bridge and Simeon Willis Memorial Bridge.

It is the only secondary school within in the Edison Local School District, covering students from the villages of Amsterdam, Bergholz, Empire, Irondale, Richmond, and Stratton, as well as most unincorporated areas in northern Jefferson County. Athletic teams compete as the Edison Wildcats in the Ohio High School Athletic Association as a member of the Buckeye 8 Athletic League as well as the Ohio Valley Athletic Conference. Edison is a very agriculturally active district, with an FFA club which goes nationally to events. Edison also offers specialized career pathways which prepare students for their post-graduation careers, focusing on engineering, public service, biomedical science, and technological advancements.
Ross High School is a public high school in Ross Township, Butler County, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Ross Local School District which serves Ross Township and Morgan Township. Ross High School has an enrollment of around 850 students. The school's mascot is the Ram. The Rams compete in the Southwest Ohio Conference (SWOC). In 2005, a new high school was built and the old high school became the middle school. At the beginning of the school year in 2015, Ross High School received the National Blue Ribbon Award.
Miami Trace High School is a public high school near Washington Court House, Ohio. It is the only high school in the Miami Trace Local School District. Their mascot is the Panthers. The Miami Trace Local School District serves parts of Washington Court House while also serving the residents in almost every other area in Fayette County as well as small areas in Clinton County near Sabina and Madison County. Miami Trace is a member of the Frontier Athletic Conference (FAC) composed of Chillicothe, Jackson, Hillsboro, Washington Court House, and McClain. Miami Trace holds strong backgrounds in football, and has built a strong reputation in Girls' Basketball and Wrestling in recent past. Miami Trace has one of the top FFA chapters in Ohio.
River Valley High School is a public high school near Bidwell, in the U.S. state of Ohio. It is one of two high schools in the Gallia County Local School District, the other school being South Gallia High School. Their nickname is the Raiders. The school has been rated "Excellent" two years in a row on the state report card making it one of the highest ranked schools within several counties. In August 2009 the current RVHS facility was officially opened, taking the place of the previous RVHS located in nearby Cheshire. The new location places River Valley High School just a short distance from its main feeder school, River Valley Middle School. The 2009–10 school year was the first to take place in the new building, with the Class of 2010 being the first class to graduate, and the Class of 2013 being the first to complete all four years of their secondary education at the new building.
Liberty-Benton High School is a public high school near Findlay, Ohio, and the only high school in the Liberty-Benton Local School district. It is named for Liberty Township, the village of Benton Ridge, and Eagle Township. Its mascot is the bald eagle, and its school colors are blue and white, accented with red. It is also a member of the Blanchard Valley Conference. In 1995, the school expanded by building a new high school facility about a fourth of a mile from the main building. After the new building was completed, all sports programs except football, baseball, track, and softball were moved to the new building. Football and track continued at the main school until 2003. The baseball and softball teams played at Benton Ridge Park until fields at the new high school were finished in the late 2000s. The new high school hosts district tournaments in basketball, volleyball, and track.

Their nickname is the Trojans. They are members of the Three Rivers Athletic Conference. They have a respected performing arts program.
Willard High School is a public high school in Willard, Ohio, United States. It is the only high school in the Willard City School District. Their nickname is the Crimson Flashes. A long time member of the Northern Ohio League (1944-2017), Willard joined the Sandusky Bay Conference in 2017.

The Bryant Bulldogs are the athletic teams representing Bryant University in Smithfield, Rhode Island. As of July 1, 2022, the Bulldogs compete in most National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I sports as members of the America East Conference (AmEast). The move to the AmEast followed a 14-year tenure in the Northeast Conference (NEC), which it joined in 2008 when it began a transition from NCAA Division II to Division I. Bryant's largest rivalry during its Division II years was Bentley College, both founders of the Northeast-10 Conference (NE-10) and both have prominent business programs. Bryant University athletics started out as a member of the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) before it transitioned into Division II. Bryant competed in the NE-10 from the conference's founding in 1980 until 2008 when the university began the transition to Division I. In 2012, Bryant became a full Division I member.
The Bryant Bulldogs football program represents Bryant University in college football. As of the upcoming 2022 season, the Bulldogs are football-only members of the Big South Conference and compete at the NCAA Division I Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) level. The team has played its home games at Bulldog Stadium in Smithfield, Rhode Island from 1999 to 2016, after which it was renamed Beirne Stadium.
The Bryant Bulldogs men's basketball team represents Bryant University in NCAA Division I men's basketball. The team currently competes in the America East Conference. They are led by head coach Jared Grasso and play their home games at the Chace Athletic Center.
