Deadpool Kills Deadpool is an American comic book limited series written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Salva Espin and Mike del Mundo. Published by Marvel Comics as the third installment of the Deadpool Killology, [2] the series follows the Deadpool of Earth-616 as he is recruited by the Deadpool Corps to fend off a multiversal genocide of Deadpools at the hands of "Dreadpool" (the Deadpool from Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and Deadpool Killustrated ) and his own army of Deadpools. [3] The four-issue series, published in 2013, was followed by the reboot Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again in 2017.

Premise

In the storyline, the murderous, nihilistic Deadpool of Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe and Deadpool Killustrated , now called "Dreadpool", aims to hunt down all versions of Deadpool in an attempt to finally end his existence, facing off against the main continuity "Merc With A Mouth" Deadpool of Earth-616, who is recruited by the Deadpool Corps during a battle with ULTIMATUM. After the Deadpool Corps are killed in the process, Deadpool faces off against Dreadpool himself, who is eventually shown the error of his ways and killed by Deadpool in vengeance for causing the death of his friends. However, after Deadpool finds his way back to his universe, Dreadpool is revealed to the reader to still be alive and scheming. [4] [5] [6] [7] [8]

Deadpool Killustrated is an American comic book limited series written by Cullen Bunn and drawn by Matteo Lolli. Published by Marvel Comics as the second installment of the Deadpool Killology, the series continues the story of the alternate-universe Deadpool from Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe, as he seeks to wipe out the "Ideaverse" beyond the Marvel Multiverse by killing the legendary figures who inspired their creation, opposed by a time-travelling Sherlock Holmes and Dr. Watson, who enlist Beowulf, Hua Mulan, and Natty Bumppo in an attempt to stop him. The four-issue series was followed by the sequel Deadpool Kills Deadpool (2013) and the reboot Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe Again (2017).
