The Dean Bulldogs football team represents Dean College in college football at the NCAA Division III level. The Bulldogs are members of the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC), fielding its team in the ECFC since 2016. The team was formally known as the Red Demons until 1994 when the school went from Dean Junior College to Dean College. [6]

The New England Bowl was an annual NCAA Division III post-season college football bowl game series established in 2016 by four New England football conferences pulling their teams from the ECAC Bowl structure. All four conferences were eligible for postseason play and each of the 27 football-playing institutions in the conferences were eligible to participate in the New England Bowl series. The criteria used by the commissioners to select the teams required an overall winning percentage of .667 or higher and they evaluated overall record, conference record, conference standing, head-to-head results, and results versus teams selected for the NCAA Tournament.

The regular season began on September 2 and ended on November 12. This was the 50th season that the NCAA has sponsored a Division III championship.
Andrae Murphy is an American college football coach. He was the head football coach for Dean College from 2022 to 2024. He also coached for Everglades High School, J. P. Taravella High School, Massachusetts Maritime, Florida Atlantic, Holy Cross, and Columbia. He played college football for Dean and Bridgewater State as a defensive back.
Mickey Rehring is an American college football coach. He is the defensive coordinator and linebackers coach for King's College, positions he has held since 2024. He was the head football coach for the State University of New York Maritime College from 2019 to 2023. He also coached for Franklin & Marshall, Bowdoin, and Johns Hopkins. He played college football for Franklin & Marshall as a defensive lineman.
