Dear Seattle are an Australian indie rock band from the Northern Beaches of Sydney, New South Wales. The band consists of four members: Brae Fisher, Jeremy Baker, Lachlan Simpson, and Josh McKay. They have released two studio albums and two EPs to date. [2]

Contents

The band have performed at many Australian festivals including; Groovin the Moo, Unify Gathering, Festival of the Sun, and Party in the Paddock. [3] [4]

History

Dear Seattle's formed in Sydney in 2013 and band began posting songs on Triple J's Unearthed, which gained them rotation across the Triple J network and helped the band gig their away around the nation finding fans all over the country. [5]

In February 2019, the band released their debut studio album, Don't Let Go, which was produced by James Tidswell (Violent Soho). [5]

In 2019, Dear Seattle covered Missy Higgins "The Special Two" for Triple J's Like a Version. [6]

The John Butler Trio are an Australian roots/rock band led by guitarist and vocalist John Butler, an APRA and ARIA-award-winning musician. They formed in Fremantle in 1998 with Jason McGann on drums, Gavin Shoesmith on bass and John Butler on vocals. Boy & Bear are an Australian indie folk band formed in 2009, consisting of David Hosking, Killian Gavin, Tim Hart, Jonathan Hart, and David Symes (bass). The band has released two EPs and five studio albums. The first two albums, Moonfire and Harlequin Dream, reached the top ten of the Australian albums chart. Their third album, Limit of Love, was released on 9 October 2015, in Australia, New Zealand, the United States, and Canada, and on 30 October in the UK and Europe. On 27 September 2019, after a four-year break, they released their long-awaited fourth studio album, Suck on Light. After yet another break between 2020 and 2022 due to the COVID pandemic, the band finally released their self-titled fifth studio album on 26 May 2023.

To date, Ray has released two studio albums – Begin to Look Around (2021) and Positive Spin (2023) – as well as the EPs Elsewhere (2016) and Here and Now (2018).

Luca Brasi are an Australian rock band formed in St Helens, Tasmania in 2009. The current line-up of the band features Thomas Busby on lead guitar, Danny Flood on drums, Patrick Marshall on rhythm guitar and backing vocals, and Tyler Richardson on lead vocals and bass guitar. To date, the group have released six studio albums: Extended Family (2011), By a Thread (2014), If This Is All We're Going to Be (2016), Stay (2018), Everything Is Tenuous (2021) and The World Don't Owe You Anything (2023). Known for their songs about Australian culture, they initially went viral for their song "Smoko" and its music video in 2017, and later with "Pub Feed" in 2019. I Know Leopard are an Australian pop band from Sydney, New South Wales. The band was formed in 2012, and features Luke O'Loughlin on vocals and keyboards, Rosie Fitzgerald on bass and Jennifer McCullagh on violin and keyboards. They released their debut album, Love is a Landmine, in 2019.

Sly Withers are an Australian alternative rock band from Perth, Western Australia. The band consists of vocalists/guitarists Jono Mata and Sam Blitvich, drummer Joel Neubecker and bassist Shea Moriarty. The line-up of the band has remained unchanged since its 2013 inception, with the band members originally meeting and forming the band while still in high school. Their second studio album, Gardens, debuted and peaked at number 10 on the ARIA Chart on 21 June 2021. A single from the album, "Clarkson", placed in Triple J's Hottest 100 of 2021 at number 69.
