Death Requisite is a heavy metal band from Sarasota, Florida. The band describes their style as "blackened symphonic melodic Technical death metal" or simply "extreme hybrid metal". [2] The band has played with Living Sacrifice, Extol, Zao, Norma Jean, and Sleeping Giant. [10] The band is signed to Rottweiler Records. [11]

Background

Death Requisite is a melodic death metal band which originated in Sarasota, Florida. The band formed in 1999 and broke up 2005. In 2010, they re-formed. Since then they have released three EPs, Prophets of Doom, Second Death , and Threnody. In June 2016, the band signed to Rottweiler Records. [11] [12] The band released their new album, Revisitation in the fall of 2016, through Rottweiler. [13] [14] The album had several reviews by notable musicians, including Kevin Tubby of Broken Flesh, [15] Michael Cook of A Hill to Die Upon, and Kelly Shaefer of Atheist. [16] [17] Revisitation was released on November 25, 2016. [18] Bassist RTJ left the band 2016 and was unofficially replaced by Gabriel Blackmore, Dave Blackmore's son. [19] Vocalist Vincent St. James departed from the band in 2017. [20] The band would later reveal that they were working with new material with Johanna Fincher on soprano vocals. [21] The band released a picture of them with former vocalist St. James, along with Blackmore and another man, revealing the upcoming album will have five vocalists featured throughout. On May 10, 2018, Rottweiler and the band released the artwork, the release date and title of the EP, known as Thernody, which launched on June 29, 2018.

Grave Robber is an American horror punk band from Fort Wayne, Indiana. The band started rehearsing in 2005. In 2006, Grave Robber released, a vinyl EP, Love Hurts independently. Their first two studio albums, Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, were released by Retroactive Records, correspondingly in 2008 and 2009. The subsequent three studio albums, Exhumed, You're All Gonna Die!, and Escaping The Grave were released by Rottweiler Records, correspondingly in 2010, 2011, and 2018. An EP, Straight To Hell was released in 2014. Rottweiler Records has acquired the rights to Be Afraid and Inner Sanctum, with plans to re-release in 2023.

Pantokrator is a Swedish Christian metal band that was formed in 1996. The band's name means "Lord Almighty" in Ancient Greek. Several members have been in Crimson Moonlight and Sanctifica.

Broken Flesh is a Christian death metal band, formed in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, in 2004. The band has released three studio albums, Forever In Flames in 2009, Warbound in 2013, and Broken Flesh in 2015. They have released one extended play, Stripped, Stabbed, and Crucified, in 2012.

Rottweiler Records is a Christian metal record label based out of Dallas, Texas, United States. The label features bands such as Lust Control, Soul Embraced, The Jericho Harlot, and Pantokrator. The label started early on as a label that served punk rock, but has become a label that serves metal and punk. It is a Christian label, and therefore many of its artists are as well. The label was created by Shawn Browning, also known as Wretched of Grave Robber. Many bands on the label have placed high on CMW's charts and have had many positive reviews. The label participates in several compilations, including Kill the Ill a benefit comp for Rottweiler's owner Shawn Browning, and Metal Pulse: A Tribute to Dale Huffman.

Forfeit Thee Untrue, also known as FTU, is a South African Christian metal band who formed in 2006. Remaining a 2-piece band until late 2011, at which point, lead vocalist/guitarist Gideon joined the band. Light Unseen is an American death metal and grindcore band that originated in San Marcos, Texas, United States. The band was founded by local Texas death metal and grindcore veteran Christian "Shun" Marthiljohni of Diminished, Southern Front, and The Monk. Marthiljohni hired on his friend Adrian Trevino to take over drums. The band signed with Nosral Recordings in January 2018. Light Unseen has been compared to Tortured Conscience and Antidemon. Currently, the band is signed with Rottweiler Records.
