The New Zealand royal honours system,a system of orders,decorations and medals,recognises achievements of,or service by,New Zealanders or others in connection with New Zealand. Until 1975,New Zealand used the British honours system. Since then the country has introduced a number of uniquely New Zealand honours,and as of 2021,only the dynastic British honours continue in active use in New Zealand,with the exception of the Order of the Companions of Honour.

Diane Shirley Foreman is a New Zealand businesswoman. In 2012 Foreman was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to business. She was inducted into the New Zealand Business Hall of Fame in 2024.
Barbara Eva Hochstein is a German–New Zealand radiologist,and radiology educator. She is one of New Zealand's longest-serving radiologists,and has led the establishment of mobile breastscreening services,the use of pregnancy scans for family violence detection,and the provision of out-of-hours radiology advice across Australia and New Zealand. In 2024 Hochstein was appointed a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to radiology and education.
Caroline Irena Seelig is a New Zealand academic administrator,and was chief executive of the Open Polytechnic of New Zealand. She has contributed to vocational education and distance learning for more than thirty years. In 2024 Seelig was appointed an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to education.
Virginia Margaret Radford is a New Zealand girl guide leader. In 1997 she was appointed a Companion of the Queen's Service Order for community service,and in 2016 she was appointed a Companion of the New Zealand Order of Merit for services to Girl Guides.
