Deni Kozul (born 18 March 1997) is a Slovenian table tennis player. [2]
He represented his country at the Summer Olympics in 2021 (team) [2] and 2024 (singles and team), [3] the European Games in 2019 (team) and 2023 (singles, team and mixed doubles), and the Mediterranean Games in 2018 (singles and team) and 2022 (singles and team).
Kozul competed at the World Championships in 2017 (doubles), 2018 (team), 2019 (singles), 2021 (singles and doubles), 2022 (team), 2023 (singles) and 2024 (team).
He also competed at the European Championships in 2017 (team), 2019 (team), 2021 (team), 2022 (singles and mixed doubles) and 2024 (singles).

In 2019 he was awarded the Padma Shri, India's fourth highest civilian award and in 2022, he was awarded the Khel Ratna Award, India's highest sporting honour. He beat Joo Se Hyuk and Chuang Chih-yuan, world no. 8 and 16 respectively in 2015 28th Asian cup at Jaipur. Sharath won the men's singles gold in the 16th Commonwealth table tennis championship held at Kuala Lumpur in 2004. He is a recipient of the Arjuna award for the year 2004.
Timo Boll is a German professional table tennis player, who currently plays for Borussia Düsseldorf. His last rank before retirement was rank 23rd in the ITTF world rankings as of August 2024. Boll is the most successful German table tennis player of all time, having won several medals at Olympic Games, world cups, and world championships. He was ranked world No. 1 in 2003, 2011 and in March 2018.
