Denny Wahyudi known as Denny Cagur (born August 29, 1977) is an Indonesian actor, comedian. and presenter. [1] He first came into the public eye in 1997 as a member of the comedy group The Cagur Band, with Wendy Armoko and Narji.

Wendy Armoko, also known as Wendy Cagur, is an Indonesian singer, actor, presenter, and comedian. He is a member of band The Cagur Band, which was formed by members of the comedy group Cagur.

Career

Wahyudi began his debut career in 1997 as a comedian in the group The Cagur Band, with Wendy Cagur and Narji Cagur. He appeared in the film Pijat Atas Tekan Bawah with Kiki Fatmala and Saipul Jamil in 2009. [2] He has worked on many television shows, including Chatting, Cagur Naik Bajaj, Follow Cagur, Campur-Campur, Saatnya Kita Sahur, Waktunya Kita Sahur, Comedy Project, Raden Ayu, and Lawan Tawa. He has appeared on the music show Dahsyat (2010–present) and comedy show Yuk Keep Smile (2013–2014) and hosts the dance show Bang Jali Dance .

<i>Dahsyat</i>

Dahsyat is an Indonesian television show broadcast daily on Rajawali Citra Televisi Indonesia (RCTI). The first episode of Dahsyat aired on 24 March 2008 to 19 January 2018. The show broadcasts subject matter related to music, and each show is two hours long. It was initially presented by Olga Syahputra, Raffi Ahmad, and Luna Maya. Presenters have since included a variety of actors, directors, comedians, and musicians.

Wahyudi was nominated at the 2014 Dahsyatnya Awards in the category "Outstanding Dangdut Singer". Wahyudi had awarded for "Favourite Comedian" at the Panasonic Gobel Awards in twice times (2014 and 2016) and the 2014 Nickelodeon Indonesia Kids' Choice Awards, "Most Exciting Comedian" at the Global Seru Awards, and "Most Romantic Couple" at the 2014 YKS Romantic Awards.

The 2014 Dahsyatnya Awards was an awards show for Indonesian musicians. It was the sixth annual show. The show was held on January 21, 2014, at the Jakarta International Expo in Kemayoran, Central Jakarta. The awards show was hosted by Raffi Ahmad, Luna Maya, Olga Syahputra, Ayu Dewi, and Denny Cagur. The awards ceremonies will held theme for "Dahsyatnya Cinta Indonesia".

The Panasonic Gobel Awards, are the annual awards presented to television programs and performances in Indonesia based on a people's choice poll. The first award was held in 1997 in partnership with Tabloid Citra and aired on Indosiar. Media Nusantara Citra have conducted the awards since 2000 and its broadcasting rights have been held by RCTI. Since 2003, MNCTV and Global TV also televising the awards.

The 2014 Nickelodeon Indonesia Kids' Choice Awards were held on June 13, 2014, at the Jakarta Convention Center in Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta, and hosted by Deddy Corbuzier, Nycta Gina, and Bastian. The ceremony will held the theme for "Slime Banget".

Personal life

Wahyudi was born on August 29, 1977, in Bandung, West Java. He is an alumnus of Universitas Negeri Jakarta and is the first son of Rojali and Eny. He married Santi Widihastuti on January 15, 2006, and they have one son.

Budi Darma, BA, MA, Prof. Emeritus is often described as one of Indonesia's most influential writers. He is the fourth of six children, all male. During his childhood and teens, Budi and his family lived in a number of different cities in Java, including Yogyakarta, Bandung and Semarang, due to the nature of his father's position in the postal service.
