Deonne Ellen Bridger (born 15 May 1972) is an Australian archer. She has represented Australia in archery at two different Olympic Games (1996 in Atlanta and 2004 in Athens). She also represented Australia at the 2010 Commonwealth Games. As of June 2011 [update] , she was the top-ranked female Australian archer.
Bridger was born on 15 May 1972 in Perth, Western Australia. [1] [2] As of 2008 [update] she is 168 centimetres (66 in) tall and weighs 62 kilograms (137 lb). [2]
Bridger began archery in 1976, at the age of four, in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. [1] She was an Australian Institute of Sport scholarship holder. [3]
At the 1988 World Field Championships in Bolzano, Italy, she won a bronze medal in the junior women's recurve event. [4] In October 2001, she finished first in the Ladies recurve event at the W.A. State Freestyle Field Championship while shooting for KGSA, with a marked score of 329 and unmarked score of 317 for a total of 646 with 143 hits and 86 5's. [5] In December 2001, she was nationally ranked as the best female recurve archer in Australia with a WRL of 59, best listed of 1,288 and 2,518 current points. [5] She was part of the Australian team at the 2002 European Grand Prix event held Turkey from 26 to 30 June. [6] She won a bronze medal in the women's team event alongside teammates Madeleine Ferris and Marianne Gale at the 2002 World Field Championships in Canberra, Australia. [4] In March 2003, she was ranked the best female Australian archer in recurve, ahead of Jo-Ann Galbraith. That month, she had a WRL of 82 and had 2,521 points. [7]
Bridger represented Australia at the 2010 Commonwealth Games [8] [9] [10] as a 38-year-old. [9] [10] In June 2011, she was Australia's highest ranked female archer. [11]
Bridger attended a national team training camp in Canberra in September 2011 and March 2012. [12] At the 2012 national championships in the team recurve event, she was part of Archery Western Australia's team. In the team target part, she had a score of 2,579. [13] At the 2012 National Target Archery Championships, she finished first as a member of Archery Western Australia's team. [14] As of 30 April 2012 [update] , she is ranked as Australia's top female recurve archer. [15]
Bridger represented Australia at the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games and 2004 Athens Olympic Games. [2] [10] In Atlanta, competing as a 24-year-old, she finished 57th overall in the women's individual event. [2] In the ranking round on 28 July 1996, she finished 50th with a TH of 72, scoring 11 10s and 28 9s. In the first half, she scored 209 and in the second half, she scored 306. In round one, match No. 2, she shot a 141 against Williamson of Great Britain. [2] In Athens, when she was 32 years old, she finished 41st overall in the women's individual event. [2] In the team event, she finished 11th. [2] In the ranking round on 12 August 2004, she finished 29th overall, scoring 620 with 14 10s and 7 Xs. In the first half of the round, she scored 316. In the second half, she scored 304. In round one, match No. 26 on 15 August 2004, she went up against Beloslyudtseva of Kazakhstan, scoring 145 to Beloslyudtseva 's 150. In the 2004 team event, in the ranking round on 12 August 2004, her team scored 620 points and finished 15th. They met China on 20 August 2004 in Round One in Match No. 8. Australia lost, scoring 233 to China's 248. [2] At the 2008 Summer Olympics, she was the Australian archery team's section manager. Marie-Pier Beaudet is a former Canadian archer who competed at three Summer Olympic Games between 2004 and 2012. Beaudet made her international debut in 2002, and in addition to the Olympic Games has contested the Pan American Games, in which she won a silver medal in 2007, and the Commonwealth Games, in which she earned a bronze medal in 2010.

Naomi Anne Folkard is a British archer who has represented Great Britain at the Olympic Games five times between 2004 and 2020. She has also represented Great Britain at the World Archery Championships and the Archery World Cup, and England at the Commonwealth Games.
Lee Sung-jin is a recurve archer from South Korea. She is a two-time Olympic gold medalist, winning in the women's team event at the 2004 and 2012 Summer Olympics. In 2005, she became the women's individual recurve champion at the World Championships and achieved the world number one spot for female recurve archers in the World Archery Rankings. In 2016, the World Archery Federation named her as the ninth best Olympic archer in the history of the Games.
Park Sung-hyun is an archer from South Korea who competed in two Olympic Games, winning three gold medals. Park made her international archery debut in 2001, winning the women's recurve title at that year's World Archery Championships. Her Olympic debut came at the 2004 Summer Olympics, where she won gold medals in both the women's individual and women's team events. She won two further medals at the 2008 Summer Olympics, achieving her third Olympic gold in the women's team event before earning the silver medal as the runner-up in the women's individual event.

He was a member of the Canadian National archery team who has competed in the 2004 World Junior Archery Championships, 2005 World Senior Archery Championships, the 2007 World Senior Archery Championships, the 2007 Pan-American Games and many other events.

Deepika Kumari is an Indian professional archer. Currently ranked the World No. 2, she competes in the event of archery. She won a gold medal in the 2010 Commonwealth games in the women's individual recurve event. She also won a gold medal in the same competition in the women's team recurve event along with Dola Banerjee and Bombayala Devi. She has won individual gold in two of the three stages of the World Cup—one in Guatemala and another in Paris. In the process she also reclaimed the number one ranking after nine years in Paris World Cup. Deepika Kumari won individual gold medals at the Archery World Cup Stage 1. Deepika Kumari also defeated Mexico by 5–1 in the final to win gold in Paris.
The women's recurve individual archery event at the 2010 Commonwealth Games was a competition held as part of the archery programme at the Yamuna Sports Complex in Delhi, India, from 4 October to 10 October 2010. It was the second time that the recurve individual event for women had been included in the Commonwealth Games and the first time it had been contested since the 1982 Games in Brisbane, Australia.
Taylor Worth is an Australian archer competing in recurve events. He won a gold medal at the 2010 Commonwealth Games in the men's team event, a gold medal at the United States Open and at the 2008 World Youth Archery Championships in the under-18 men's team recurve event. Worth represented Australia at the 2012 Summer Olympics in the Men's Individual competition, and at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio won a bronze medal alongside Alec Potts and Ryan Tyack in the men's team archery. Mathew Masonwells is an archer from Australia. Originally from Queensland, he has moved to the Australian Capital Territory. He started in archery when he was thirteen years old. He had a scholarship with the Australian Institute of Sport. He was named to the Australian archery shadow Olympic team for the 2012 Summer Olympics and participated in team training camps.
Ryan Tyack is an Australian archer competing in men's recurve events at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He earned a gold medal at the 2006 Junior World Outdoor Target Championships in the male recurve cadet event. He also won a gold at the 2008 World Youth Archery Championships in the men's under-18 event. He was named to the Australian archery shadow Olympic squad for the 2012 Summer Olympics, and won the individual competition at the 2014 World Indoor Archery Championships.
Zahra Nemati is an Iranian Paralympic and Olympic archer. She originally competed in taekwondo before she was paralyzed in a car accident. At the 2012 Summer Paralympics she won two medals, an individual gold and team bronze. She has qualified to compete at both the 2016 Summer Olympics and the 2016 Summer Paralympics. She was the flag bearer at the 2016 Olympics and the postponed 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo where she shared the honour with thrower Nourmohammad Arekhi.
Lisa Barbelin is a French archer, who won the recurve events at the 2021 European Archery Championships, and 2022 European Indoor Archery Championships. She has previously won multiple medals at the World Youth Archery Championships, and won bronze medals in events at the 2019 and 2022 Archery World Cups. In June 2021 she was the world's number one ranked competitor. Barbelin competed in the women's individual event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.
