Derek Couture (born April 24, 1984) is a Canadian former professional ice hockey forward. He captained the Ontario Reign of the ECHL.
Couture played four seasons (2000-2005) of major junior hockey in the Western Hockey League with the Saskatoon Blades. Undrafted, he turned professional with the 2005–06 season which he played in the American Hockey League (AHL) with the Omaha Ak-Sar-Ben Knights. [1]
Retired from hockey in 2015, Derek transitioned into a career in Real Estate. He is a licensed Realtor for the premier Charles Real Estate group and eXp Realty.[ citation needed ]

Derek Armstrong is a Canadian professional ice hockey coach and former player. Armstrong played in the National Hockey League, where he played for the New York Islanders, Ottawa Senators, New York Rangers, Los Angeles Kings and the St. Louis Blues.
Joël Bouchard is a Canadian former professional ice hockey defenceman. He played in the National Hockey League with eight teams for parts of 11 seasons. He was most recently the head coach of the American Hockey League's San Diego Gulls, the minor league affiliate of the Anaheim Ducks.
The Hartford Wolf Pack are a professional ice hockey team based in Hartford, Connecticut. A member of the American Hockey League (AHL), they play their home games at the XL Center. The team was established in 1926 as the Providence Reds. After a series of relocations, the team moved to Hartford in 1997 as the Hartford Wolf Pack. It is one of the oldest professional hockey franchises in existence, and the oldest continuously operating minor league hockey franchise in North America.
Ossi Reijo Juhani Väänänen is a Finnish former professional ice hockey defenceman. He was the captain of Jokerit of the Kontinental Hockey League (KHL), with whom he has previously won two silver medals as runner-up for the Kanada-malja in 2000 and 2005 in the Finnish Liiga. Derek MacKenzie is a Canadian former professional ice hockey player who most notably played for the Atlanta Thrashers, Columbus Blue Jackets and the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was drafted 128th overall by the Atlanta Thrashers in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft. He also played in the American Hockey League (AHL) for Columbus' and Atlanta's farm teams, the Syracuse Crunch and Chicago Wolves respectively. While with the Wolves, MacKenzie was part of a Calder Cup championship team in 2002 and also spent time as the team's captain. He set franchise records in career shorthanded goals for both AHL teams. His father, Ken MacKenzie, is the assistant general manager of the Ontario Hockey League's Sudbury Wolves. He is served as an assistant coach for the Florida Panthers until the 2021-2022 NHL season, whom he previously served as captain of from 2016 to 2018. On November 9, 2022 the Sudbury Wolves announced that MacKenzie was named the team's 31st Head Coach.
