Derek Horton (born 26 September 1972 in Tamuning, Guam) is a Guam cross-country mountain biker and road racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team EuroCyclingTrips Pro Cycling. [2]
Horton competed at the 2000 Summer Olympics in Sydney, Australia, where he became the first, and was only Guamanian mountain biker that has competed at the Olympics until 2016. He failed to finish the course.
In 2011, he competed at the Oceanian road cycling championships, what marked his return to cycling after many years of absence. The following year he once again qualified for the Olympics by virtue of his 13th place achieved at the Oceanian cross-country championships. [3] At the 2012 Summer Olympics, he competed in the men's cross-country at Hadleigh Farm. He failed to complete the race as he was lapped. [4]

Adrien Niyonshuti is a Rwandan former professional bicycle racer, who rode professionally for Team Dimension Data from 2009 to 2017. In 2021, he worked as a directeur sportif for UCI Continental team Skol Adrien Cycling Academy. In 2023, he will be leading the Benin National Cycling team to prepare for the UCI Championships to be held on the continent in 2025.

He is the 2010 and the 2016 Macedonian National Road Race Championships winner. Popstefanov represented Macedonia twice at the UCI Road World Championships, in 2014 and 2015.

Candice Lill is a South African cyclist who competes in the Cross-country and road bicycle racing disciplines of the sport. At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed in the Women's cross-country at Hadleigh Farm, finishing in 28th (last) place. Lill participated in the Elite Cross-country World Championships in 2018, 2019 and 2020.
Catriel Andrés Soto Auer is an Argentine cross-country mountain biker and road racing cyclist, who most recently rode for UCI Continental team Equipo Continental San Luis.
Anton Cooper is a New Zealand cross-country cyclist who races for the Trek Factory Racing XC Team. He is the 2015 World Under 23 Cross-country Mountain bike champion and the 2012 World Junior Cross-country Mountain bike champion. One of the two contenders for the country's 2016 Summer Olympics quota spot, he developed chronic fatigue earlier in 2016 and the nomination went to Sam Gaze instead. Cooper represented New Zealand at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, finishing sixth in the Men's Cross-country Mountain Bike final.
Roel Paulissen is a Belgian former professional mountain biker. Throughout his sporting career since 1993, he has won more than ten Belgian national championship titles, mounted top-five finishes at both the European and World Cup series, and claimed a total of four medals, including two golds, in men's cross-country race at the UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. Paulissen also represented his nation Belgium in four editions of the Olympic Games, where he competed in men's mountain biking since it officially became an Olympic sport in 1996. By the start of the 2010 season, Paulissen had been overshadowed by a doping issue after he tested positive for clomiphene that sidelined and effectively ended his mountain biking career. Having lifted a two-year suspension from doping in early 2013, Paulissen came out from his short retirement to join and race professionally for the Italian team Torpado.
Samuel William Gaze is a New Zealand cross-country and road cyclist, who currently rides for UCI ProTeam Alpecin–Deceuninck. He won the under-23 Cross-Country at the 2016 UCI Mountain Bike & Trials World Championships and the 2017 UCI Mountain Bike World Championships. He also competes on occasion in road racing events, winning the National Criterium Championships in 2017 and 2018.

Scott Bowden is an Australian mountain biking and road cyclist, who currently rides for French amateur team Bourg-en-Bresse Ain Cyclisme. He rode in the road race and the cross-country at the 2016 Summer Olympics, representing Australia. Bowden first started cycling while he was a student at St. Virgil's College, Tasmania.
Jens Schuermans is a Belgian mountain bike racer. He rode in the cross-country event at the 2016 Summer Olympics.
Peter Lombard II is a Guamanian cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Continental team EuroCyclingTrips Pro Cycling. He rode at the cross-country event at the 2016 Summer Olympics. He was pulled from the race after he crashed twice. He is an eye surgeon and owns a clinic, Lombard Health.
The men's cross-country mountain biking event at the 2020 Summer Olympics took place on 26 July 2021 at the Izu MTB Course, Izu, Shizuoka. 38 cyclists from 29 nations competed.

Christopher Blevins is an American cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Mountain Bike Team Specialized Factory Racing. Specializing in cross-country mountain biking, Blevins has also previously competed in road cycling and cyclo-cross, before choosing to solely focus on mountain biking in preparation for the 2020 Summer Olympics.
