Desire is the second solo studio album by English singer Toyah Willcox, released in 1987 by E.G. Records.
Musically, Desire is more typical of Willcox's band's earlier albums rather than its more commercial predecessor Minx . Most of the songs are once again co-written by Willcox, and while the original release of the album does not feature any musician credits, it features a consistent band line-up, rather than the large number of session musicians involved in Minx. [2] Robert Fripp and Ronnie Wood play on the album but are uncredited. [3] The album features two cover versions: "Echo Beach", originally recorded by Martha and the Muffins, and "Love's Unkind", originally by Donna Summer. [4] Willcox stated that she was forced to record "Love's Unkind" by her record label, even though she was fiercely opposed to it. E.G. Records threatened to cancel the album's release if she did not. [2] The cover photos were taken by Carrie Branovan. [5]
The lead single, "Echo Beach", became a minor hit in the UK. [6] The second and final single was "Moonlight Dancing", a song about an idea that "the moon is a connection that puts us all together", [7] which contains lyrics from a re-recorded version of "Dawn Chorus". [3] The single failed to chart. The album itself was not a commercial success either and did not enter the album sales chart in the UK. Desire was reissued digitally in 2015.

"Echo Beach" is a song recorded by the Canadian group Martha and the Muffins in 1979. Written by band member Mark Gane, it was released as a single from their album Metro Music in 1980 and went on to reach number 5 in Canada, number 6 in Australia, and number 10 in the UK. It was certified gold in Canada on 1 October 1980, a month after Metro Music achieved gold status, and also won the Juno Award for Single of the Year. "Echo Beach" was the band's only significant international hit, although they had other popular singles in Canada.

Dreamchild was the sixth solo album released by Toyah Willcox since leaving Toyah, and was released in 1994 via Cryptic Records in Germany. In 1992, Toyah began preparing a musical which was to be titled Cindy X, and for which several songs were written and recorded. When the Cindy X project was abandoned, the songs were changed and revamped for inclusion in the album. Dreamchild is the album with the least amount of input from Willcox herself, with the singer contributing lyrics to only one track. The album was predominantly written by acclaimed producer Mike Bennett, whose credits for labels such as BMG, Trojan, Radikal and Creation Records include The Fall, BMX Bandits, Bob Marley, Sweet, Tacye, Kim Fowley, King Tubby and Lee 'Scratch' Perry. The dance nature of the album also contrasts with the rest of her catalogue, making Willcox appear like more of a guest vocalist than the leading artist on her own album.
Looking Back is a studio album by the British singer Toyah Willcox, released in 1995. It is a collection of re-recordings of songs from her back catalogue, mostly classic hits from the Toyah band repertoire. The material was originally conceived as part of a double album Toyah Classics slated for release in March 1995. The two sets would eventually be released individually, with Looking Back as an 'electric' accompaniment to The Acoustic Album, released the following year. The album has never been re-released digitally.

In the Court of the Crimson Queen is the fifteenth studio album by British singer Toyah Willcox. It was released on 15 September 2008 by Willow Recordings Ltd. The album title was suggested by producer/co-author Simon Darlow and was endorsed by King Crimson mainstay and Toyah's husband Robert Fripp. "At last my husband's done something for my career!", Willcox commented. The album was reissued on CD and vinyl in April 2019 by Edsel records. It featured 5 additional tracks, including 'Dance In The Hurricane'. The album charted at #74 in the Official UK album charts as well as peaking at #22 in the UK sales charts and #7 in the independent album chart.
"21st Century Supersister" is the 25th single release by the British rock singer Toyah Willcox. Written by Toyah and collaborator Simon Darlow, it was featured in the 2011 film The Power of Three, in which Willcox starred. The song was originally recorded for the 2008 album In The Court Of The Crimson Queen and was subsequently re-worked with new lyrics in 2011. Its original version was included as the B-side of the single and was added to the album for its 2013 reissue.
