Deutsch Nepal is an industrial and dark ambient project created in 1991 by Swedish musician Peter Andersson. [1]

History

Under the name Deutsch Nepal, Andersson has issued eight studio albums, a couple of singles, the originally tape-only Silent Trilogy (on the Italian label, Old Europa Cafe), which was eventually re-issued as a CD box-set and The Very Top Of Lina Baby Doll 12-inch. He also contributed to various compilations and released split CDs with In Slaughter Natives, The Moon Lay Hidden Beneath a Cloud, Der Blutharsch, Reutoff and a split 7-inch with P·A·L. In 2008 he released the Dystopian Partycollection CD which contained material previously only available on compilations and vinyl-only EPs. [2]

The name "Deutsch Nepal" is derived from the track of the same name released in 1972 by German krautrock band Amon Düül II.

Lina, along with Brighter Death Now's Roger Karmanik co-founded the label Cold Meat Industry in 1987.

The Lab were an Australian Sydney-based electronic music band consisting of keyboardist Paul Mac, vocalist Yolanda Podolski and vocalist and bassist Warwick Factor. The band was started by Paul Mac and Tristan Mason and an early lineup included two bass players. The name came about when one of them was listening to an Eric B and Rakim album which had the vocal line in it: "Back to the lab" which, according to Mason: "described our after gig practices, as in lets go back to The Lab, which was where me, Paul and Yolanda all lived." They formed in the late 1980s and initially recorded on the rooArt label. Their first release was the track "Heaven" which was included on rooArt's 1990 Young Blood 3 new artists sampler.

Thessalonians were a San Francisco-based electronic music group founded by Kim Cascone and Larry Thrasher. Originally, their compositions focused on infusing drone and experimental music and later integrated elements of ambient, industrial and psychedelic music. Their final line-up was Cascone, Thrasher, Don Falcone, and Paul Neyrinck.

Crisis n.T.i. was the music project of United Kingdom-based composer Ged Denton, known for his work in The Cyber-Tec Project. Under the moniker Denton released the album The Alien Conspiracy for Fifth Colvmn Records in 1995.
