Devin Beliveau is an American politician and schoolteacher from Maine. In 2010,he was elected to the Maine House of Representatives from District 151 when he defeated Republican John Carson and unenrolled Gary Beers,replacing Walter Wheeler,who was unable to run again due to term-limits. [1] He was a history teacher at Thornton Academy. In 2009,Beliveau was appointed the Board of Trustees of the Maine Community College System by Governor John Baldacci. [2] In 2012,Beliveau did not seek re-election. [3]
Devin is currently a high school teacher at Samueli Academy,located in Santa Ana,California. [4]
Beliveau,a fourth generation Mainer,attended Hall-Dale High School in Farmingdale and Colby College in Waterville. [5] He spent a year after graduating from Colby as an AmeriCorps volunteer with the I Have a Dream Foundation. His then began working in public schools in Massachusetts and California,where he earned a master's in education from Stanford University. [2]

Mark W. Lawrence is an American lawyer and Democratic politician currently serving in the Maine Senate. Lawrence represents Senate District 35,comprising the towns of Eliot,Kittery,Ogunquit,South Berwick,York and part of Berwick. Lawrence was born in Kittery and attended Bowdoin College and the University of Maine School of Law where he was elected to his first term in the Maine House of Representatives. He has served a total of three terms in the Maine House and is serving his sixth nonconsecutive term in the Maine Senate,where he served as president from 1996 to 2000. Lawrence was the 2000 Democratic United States Senate nominee,challenging incumbent Olympia Snowe,and in 2008 he unsuccessfully sought the Democratic nomination for Maine's 1st congressional district. Severin Beliveau is an American attorney,political activist and lobbyist in Maine. Beliveau was elected to the Maine House of Representatives in 1966 after graduating from Georgetown University Law Center and was influential in the rise of the Maine Democratic Party in state politics after a century of Republican dominance. He later served in the Maine Senate and,in 1986,unsuccessfully sought the Democratic Party's nomination for Governor. Considered a moderate Democrat,Beliveau lost to the more liberal Maine Attorney General James Tierney.
