Arvind Kejriwal is an Indian politician, activist and former bureaucrat, who served as the 7th Chief Minister of Delhi. He previously was the chief minister from 2013 to 2014 and was serving since 2015. He is also the national convener of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) since 2012. He has represented the New Delhi constituency in the Delhi Legislative Assembly since 2015 and from 2013 to 2014.

Bijwasan Assembly constituency is one of the 70 Delhi Legislative Assembly constituencies in Delhi. This constituency covers part of Dhulsiras, Vasant Kunj, Mahipalpur, Rangpuri, Nangal Dewat, Bijwasan, Samalkha, Bamnauli, Kapashera, Shahbad Mohammadpur, Rajnagar, Part of Dwarka.

Atishi Marlena Singh, also known as Atishi Singh or Atishi Marlena or mononymously Atishi is an Indian politician who is currently serving as the 8th Chief Minister of Delhi since 21 September 2024, after the resignation of Arvind Kejriwal. She belongs to the Aam Aadmi Party and is a member of its Political Affairs Committee, the governing body of the party. Prior to her appointment as the chief minister, she also served as the Minister of Education, P.W.D, Culture and Tourism in the Delhi Government. Previously, she served as advisor to the former Deputy Chief Minister of Delhi, Manish Sisodia, primarily on education, from July 2015 to 17 April 2018. Atishi is one of only two women currently serving as a chief minister in India, along with Mamata Banerjee of West Bengal.

Harsh Dev Singh is an Indian politician and advocate. He was Chairman of the Jammu and Kashmir National Panthers Party from 2012 to 2022. He won three elections serving as MLA for Ramnagar, constituency for 18 continuous years from 1996 till 2014. Under his tenure as the Minister of Education of Jammu and Kashmir from 2002 to 2008, English became a compulsory language from first grade. <span class="mw-page-title-main">2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly election</span> 2020 state assembly election in Delhi

Legislative Assembly elections were held in Delhi on 8 February 2020 to elect 70 members of the Delhi Legislative Assembly. Voters turnout was recorded at 62.82%, a decline of 4.65% from the previous assembly election in Delhi but 2.2% more than the 2019 Indian general election in Delhi. The term of the assembly elected in 2015 expired on 22 February 2020. The Aam Aadmi Party, led by Arvind Kejriwal won 62 seats to claim an absolute majority in the elections.

The Seventh Legislative Assembly of Delhi was constituted on 16 February 2020 after the 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly elections were concluded earlier on 8 February 2020 and the results were announced on 11 February 2020. It is the legislative arm of the Government of Delhi.

Bhupinder Singh Joon is an Indian lawyer and politician from Delhi belonging to Aam Aadmi Party. He is a member of the Delhi Legislative Assembly.

Sushil Kumar Rinku is an Indian politician and a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party He was a member of parliament from the Jalandhar constituency after winning in 2023 jalandhar by-election but in 2024 he lost to Congress candidate and former Chief minister of Punjab Charanjit Singh Channi. He previously belonged to the Aam Aadmi Party and Indian National Congress. In 2017, he was elected as a member of the Punjab Legislative Assembly from Jalandhar West on Indian National Congress ticket.

Gurinder Singh Garry Birring is an Indian Politician and a member of Punjab Legislative Assembly representing Amloh Assembly constituency since 2022. He is a member of the Aam Aadmi Party.

Captain Venzy Viegas is an Indian politician and former merchant navy officer who serves as a member of the Goa Legislative Assembly, representing the Benaulim Assembly constituency. A member of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), he was elected as the MLA from Benaulim in the 2022 Goa Legislative Assembly election. Viegas was appointed as the legislative party leader of AAP in Goa Assembly in March 2022.

Aam Aadmi Party Delhi or AAP Delhi is a state wing of Aam Aadmi Party. AAP became a state party in Delhi in 2013. The party contested its first election in Delhi in 2013 and was successful in winning 28 seats in a hung assembly. It got outside support from Indian National Congress and Arvind Kejriwal became the Chief Minister of Delhi but he resigned after 49 days due to differences with INC. In the following 2015 elections, AAP won 67 of the 70 seats in the assembly, limiting BJP at just 3 seats and INC with none and Kejriwal was sworn in as the Chief Minister of Delhi. AAP formed the government again in the subsequent 2020 Delhi Legislative Assembly election, winning 62 seats.
