Dheekshith Shetty is an Indian film and television actor who predominantly works in Kannada and Telugu films. He is widely known for Dia (2020), Dasara (2023) and Blink (2024), and the television show Naagini . [2]

Career

Dheekshith started his career with the soap opera Preethi Endarenu and Sakshi in 2016 and rose to fame with Naagini alongside Deepika Das. [3] He also participated in the reality show Dance Karnataka Dance and emerged as the winner alongside Deepika Das. [4]

He made his feature film debut with the 2020 Kannada film Dia which put him in the spotlight with appreciations from critics and audience. [5] He also appeared in few Kannada short films in 2022. [6] He then made his Telugu debut with Mugguru Monagallu and then starred in The rose villa. However his breakthrough in Telugu was through Dasara alongside Nani and Keerthy Suresh . [7] [8] He also appeared in the Anthology Meet Cute backed by Nani. [9] [10] His next release came in 2024 with KTM which opened to mixed reviews but Shetty's performance was appreciated. [11] The next release came within a month through Blink which was an experimental film with story of Oedipus which opened to glowing reviews. [12] [13]

Dasara (transl. Vijayadasami) is a 2023 Indian Telugu-language period action drama film directed by Srikanth Odela and produced by Sudhakar Cherukuri. It stars an ensemble cast of Nani, Keerthy Suresh, Dheekshith Shetty, Shine Tom Chacko, Samuthirakani, P. Sai Kumar and Shamna Kasim. The film marks the directorial debut of Odela and Chacko's acting debut in Telugu cinema. <i>Dasara</i> (soundtrack) 2023 soundtrack album by Santhosh Narayanan

Dasara is the soundtrack album composed by Santhosh Narayanan to the 2023 film of the same name written and directed by debutant Srikanth Odela, and stars Nani and Keerthy Suresh. The soundtrack to the film features 10 songs released under the Saregama record label. It was preceded by six tracks released as singles—"Dhoom Dhaam Dhostham", "Ori Vaari", "Chamkeela Angeelesi", "Oh Ammalaalo Ammalaalo", "Celebration of Vennela" and "Cricket Rap"—followed by the soundtrack released on 14 April 2023. The songs were written by Kasarla Shyam, Sri Mani, Rehman, Gaddam Suresh in Telugu, whereas Vivek, Muthamil, Santhosh Varma, Varadaraj Chikkaballapura, Kausar Munir, Raqueeb Alam, Vinay, Tarun Mathur were credited as the songwriters for the Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada and Hindi versions.

The film stars Dheekshith Shetty and Chaithra J. Achar in lead roles. The soundtrack and background score were composed by Prasanna Kumar MS while the cinematography handled by Avinaasha Shastry and editing done by Sanjeev Jagirdar.

KTM is a 2024 Indian Kannada-language romantic drama film written and directed by Aruna. The film stars Dheekshith Shetty, Sanjana Doss, and Kaajal Kunder. The title of the film KTM is abbreviated from the main characters names, Karthik-Tanya-Mercy.
