The Dialog Center is firmly against religious beliefs of cults but promotes dialogue between cult members and their families. It rejects deprograming, believing that it is counterproductive and ineffective, and can harm the relationship between a cult member and concerned family members. It is active in 20 countries. In Asia it also tries to spread Christianity with Buddhists.

Father Francis Gleeson was an Irish Roman Catholic priest who served as a British Army chaplain during Ireland's involvement in the First World War. Educated at seminaries near Dublin, Gleeson was ordained in 1910 and worked at a home for the blind before volunteering for service upon the outbreak of war. Commissioned into the Army Chaplains' Department and attached to the 2nd Battalion, Royal Munster Fusiliers he served with them at the First Battle of Ypres. During this battle Gleeson is said to have taken command of the battalion after all the officers were incapacitated by the enemy. He was highly regarded by his men for tending to the wounded under fire, visiting the frontline trenches, and bringing gifts.

I BIKE Dublin is an advocacy group founded in Dublin, Ireland in 2017 and is focused on improving conditions for cycling in Dublin city. The group carries out direct actions to raise awareness of the issues facing people who cycle in Dublin and to pressure the authorities to do more to provide safe conditions for cycling.

Mike Garde is a South African born theologian and an expert on cults. He is the director of Dialogue Ireland. Garde is a Mennonite and is a member of Grosvenor Baptist Church in Rathmines. In 1978, he was supported by the London Mennonist Mission, in establishing the Irish Mennonist Mission in Dublin. He was the first non-Catholic to study for the Bachelor of Divinity at St Patrick's College, Maynooth in 1975. He also gained an H.Dip in Education. Prior to attending Maynooth he studied for a Diploma in Theology at the Irish Baptist College in Belfast and University College London. He received an M.A. in Theology in 2006 from the Milltown Institute in Dublin.
