Diana M. Glomb-Rogan (born February 3, 1947) is an American politician and social worker.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, Glob received her bachelor's degree in elementary education from University of Louisiana at Monroe and her master's degree in social work from Louisiana State University. Glomb was a social worker and lived in Reno, Nevada. From 1993 to 1997, Glomb served in the Nevada State Senate and was a Democrat. [1] [2] She was the first woman on the senate finance committee.

Patrick Anthony McCarran was an American farmer, attorney, judge, and Democratic politician who represented Nevada in the United States Senate from 1933 until 1954. McCarran was born in Reno, Nevada, attended Nevada State University, and was a farmer and rancher. In 1902, he won election to the Nevada Assembly but left office in 1905 after an unsuccessful campaign for the Nevada State Senate. He studied law privately and was admitted to the bar in 1905, then won election as Nye County District Attorney. He served a two-year term, after which he returned to Reno. From 1913 to 1919, McCarran was a justice of the Supreme Court of Nevada, serving as chief justice from 1917 to 1919. His support for the aviation industry was well known and resulted in Paradise, Nevada's former McCarran Field being named in his honor.
Richard Hudson Bryan is an American attorney and politician who served as a United States Senator from Nevada from 1989 to 2001. A Democrat, Bryan served as the 25th Governor of Nevada from 1983 to 1989, and before that served as the state's attorney general and a member of the State Senate.
Vail Montgomery Pittman was an American politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as the 19th Governor of Nevada.
Alan Harvey Bible was an American lawyer and politician. A member of the Democratic Party, he served as a United States Senator from Nevada from 1954 to 1974. He previously served as Attorney General of Nevada from 1942 to 1950.
Brian Edward Sandoval is an American attorney and politician who served as the 29th Governor of Nevada from 2011 to 2019. A member of the Republican Party, he has served as the 17th president of the University of Nevada, Reno since 2020.
Alice Costandina Titus is an American political scientist and politician who has been the United States representative for Nevada's 1st congressional district since 2013. She served as the U.S. representative for Nevada's 3rd congressional district from 2009 to 2011, when she was defeated by Joe Heck. Titus is a member of the Democratic Party. She served in the Nevada Senate and was its minority leader from 1993 to 2009. Before her election to Congress, Titus was a professor of political science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV), where she taught American and Nevada government for 30 years. She was the Democratic nominee for governor of Nevada in 2006.
Christopher Thomas Ault is a former American football player, coach, and college athletics administrator. He served three stints at the head football coach at the University of Nevada, Reno, leading the Nevada Wolf Pack to a record of 234–108–1 over 28 seasons and guiding the program from the NCAA's Division II to Division I-AA in 1978 and then to Division I-A in 1992. Ault was also the athletic director at Nevada from 1986 to 2004. He was the school's starting quarterback from 1965 to 1968. He is a former consultant for the Kansas City Chiefs of the National Football League (NFL). Ault was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame as a coach in 2002, seven years after his first retirement from coaching in 1995. He also coached in the Italian Football League.
Kathy Marie Alfano Augustine was an American politician from Nevada. A Republican, Augustine served in the Nevada Assembly (1993–1995) and in the Nevada Senate (1995–1999). She was Nevada's first female State Controller, serving from 1999 until her 2006 death, except for a brief period of suspension during her 2004 impeachment trial which led to censure but not termination. She was murdered in 2006 by Chaz Higgs, her fourth husband, who was sentenced to life imprisonment with possibility of parole.
Sue Ellen Wagner is an American politician. She was the 30th Lieutenant Governor of the U.S. State of Nevada, serving from 1991 to 1995, the first woman to be elected to the position. A moderate who was liberal on social issues, she was a member of the Republican Party until her exit in January 2014 due to the party's shift towards the Tea Party movement.
Catherine Marie Cortez Masto is an American lawyer and politician serving as the senior United States senator from Nevada since 2017. A member of the Democratic Party, she was the 32nd attorney general of Nevada from 2007 to 2015.
William Raggio was an American politician and a former Republican member of the Nevada Senate. He represented Washoe County's 3rd district from 1972 until his retirement in 2011. He is the longest-serving member in the history of the State Senate.
Joyce Woodhouse is an American politician and a former member of the Nevada Senate. She represented the 5th district from 2006 to 2010 and then from 2012 to 2019, when she became unable to run for re-election due to term limits.

Leslie served as Assistant Whip in the Assembly from 2001-2007, as Majority Whip in the Assembly from 2007-2011, and as Assistant Whip in the Senate from 2011-2012.
Aaron Darnell Ford is an American lawyer and politician serving as the 34th Attorney General of Nevada, since 2019. A member of the Democratic Party, he previously served as a Nevada State Senator for the 11th district from 2013 to 2018, which encompasses parts of the Las Vegas Valley including portions of the communities of Spring Valley and Enterprise.
Teresa Francisca Benitez-Thompson is an American politician, the Majority Floor Leader and a Democratic member of the Nevada Assembly, first elected February 7, 2011 to represent District 27 in Washoe County. She was crowned Miss Nevada 2002 and placed third runner-up at the Miss America 2003 pageant.
Nicole Jeanette Cannizzaro is an American Democratic politician currently serving in the Nevada Senate. She represents the 6th district, which covers parts of Las Vegas.

The 2022 United States Senate election in Nevada was held on November 8, 2022, to elect a member of the United States Senate to represent the State of Nevada. In the election, incumbent Democrat Catherine Cortez Masto narrowly defeated her Republican challenger, former Nevada Attorney General Adam Laxalt. Nevada's election results were slowed due to state law that allowed voters to submit mail-in ballots until November 12, and allowed voters to fix clerical problems in their mail-in ballots until November 14, 2022.

Merle A. Berman is a former member of the Nevada Legislature. A member of the Republican Party, she was initially elected in 1996, and represented District 2 in the Nevada Assembly from 1997 to 2001. Upon completion of her Assembly term, she was appointed to the Nevada Commission on Ethics.
