Dicomano is a comune (municipality) in the Metropolitan City of Florence in the Italian region Tuscany, located about 25 kilometres (16 mi) northeast of Florence.
The comune is a basic administrative division in Italy, roughly equivalent to a township or municipality.
The Metropolitan City of Florence is a metropolitan city in the Tuscany region, Italy. Its capital is the city of Florence. It replaced the Province of Florence. It was first created by the reform of local authorities and then established by the Law 56/2014. It has been operative since January 1, 2015.
