Dilbagh Singh is a Punjabi language singer-songwriter and film actor. [1] [2] Singh was born in Delhi, but is currently based in Mumbai, India. [3]

Musical career

In 2014, Dilbagh Singh gave the hit song "Thodi Jinni Peeti Hai". Dilbagh Singh sang the hit song "Mari Gali" for the soundtrack of the 2015 film Tanu Weds Manu: Returns . [4] In 2016, Singh was a celebrity judge at the Delhi College of Arts and Commerce's auditions for the Oppo Delhi Times Fresh Face 2016 competition. [5]

Singh claims Kishore Kumar, Jagjit Singh, and Gurdas Mann as among his musical inspirations. [3] Singh typically performs eight to ten international shows abroad in a year, and double that in India. Despite being a Punjabi singer, he has also performed in states such as Tamil Nadu, Hyderabad, Assam and West Bengal. [6]

Singh has also acted in a Bollywood movie in the year 2018 which costars Rahul Bagga, rajpal yadav and Mustaq Khan. [7] He was initially signed for just lending his voice to the songs in the movie, but the filmmakers soon realised that Singh's jovial nature suited a character in the movie and they brought him on board as an actor also. Sushma Seth

Sushma Seth is an Indian stage, film and television actress. She started her career in the 1950s, and was a founder member of the Delhi-based theatre group Yatrik. Her first movie was Junoon in 1978. She is known for playing a mother and grandmother role in movies and on television, and notable for her role as Dadi in the pioneering TV soap Hum Log (1984–1985). She has worked with famous directors like Dev Raj Ankur, Ram Gopal Bajaj, Manish Joshi Bismil and Chander Shekhar Sharma.

Akshay Kumar was also nominated for the Asian Film Awards in the "Best Actor" category for his performance in the film.

B Praak Indian singer and music producer

Pratik Bachan, best known by his stage name B Praak, is an Indian singer and music composer associated with the Punjabi and Hindi music industry. He started his career as a music producer, and later debuted as a singer with the song Mann Bharrya. He is a frequent collaborator of lyricist Jaani, and has since entered into Hindi cinema in 2019 with two songs as singer in the films Kesari and Good Newwz starring Akshay Kumar, and as a guest composer in the satire Bala.

"Teri Mitti" (transl. Your soil is a patriotic Hindi song, written by Manoj Muntashir, composed by Arko Pravo Mukherjee, and sung by singer B Praak. It was released in March 2019 and featured on the soundtrack of the 2019 Hindi film Kesari, starring Akshay Kumar and Parineeti Chopra, who later sang the female version. The aim of the song was to reflect a dying soldier's last thoughts in the film's final scene.
