Dilip Parulekar is an Indian Politician from the state of Goa. He is a two term member of the Goa Legislative Assembly representing the Saligao constituency. [1] Parulekar was a Minister in the Laxmikant Parsekar led government in Goa [2] and his portfolios included Women &Child Development,Tourism, [3] [4] [5] Ports and Protocol.
Opposition alleged that he was involved in a Serula Land Grab Case [6] [7] [8] and having fake educational qualification. [9] The minister is allegedly involved in the Multi crore Beach Cleaning Scam. The case is currently being investigated by the Goa Lokayukta. [10]

Karnataka Lokayukta is the ombudsman institution of the Indian state of Karnataka. It was established in 1984 to investigate and report on corruption in the Government of Karnataka and to redress public grievances related to state government employees. This Lokayukta that was once considered the most powerful such institution in the state. However,it was stripped of its investigative powers before transferring them to the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) of Karnataka Police directly under the Chief Minister of Karnataka in 2016. The High Court of Karnataka dissolved ACB and restored all the ongoing cases to the Karnataka Lokayukta in 2022.
Anjali Anish Damania is an Indian anti-corruption activist and politician. She was the convener of Maharashtra state unit of Aam Admi Party (AAP). During 2011–12,she exposed corruption in the Kondhane dam project through RTI queries. She came into the limelight in 2012,after she accused the Bharatiya Janata Party President Nitin Gadkari of having a business partnership with the Nationalist Congress Party chief Sharad Pawar. She unsuccessfully contested 2014 Lok Sabha elections from Nagpur,as an AAP candidate against Gadkari. However,in March 2015,she quit the AAP amid allegations of horse trading against national convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal. She has filed several PIL's against powerful politicians like Chhagan Bhujbal and Eknath Khadse. On 2 June 2016 she went on an indefinite hunger strike demanding the resignation of Eknath Khadse,which resulted in Khadse's resignation from the position of Maharashtra state Revenue Minister.
In the year 2013,an investigation into a minor complaint of misappropriation of funds disbursed under the scholarship scheme meant for tribal students,exposed a multi-crore scam spanning across Madhya Pradesh,India. The initial investigation revealed that huge amount of money was illegally siphoned off and thereafter,a special team was constituted to crack down on those involved. The tribal welfare department headed by Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan came under the Lokayukta probe.

The 2016 Bihar school examination scandal or topper scam was a corruption scandal in the Indian state of Bihar which came to public light on 31 May 2016,when the Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) Arts and Humanities topper Ruby Rai,Science topper Saurabh Shrestha and third topper in Science stream Rahul Kumar were interviewed by television channels and they were unable to answer to basic questions. Ruby Rai,a student of Vishun Roy College,Kiratpur Raja Ram village in Vaishali district pronounced Political Science as ‘Prodigal Science’and described it as a subject related to cooking. Science topper Saurabh Shrestha was unaware of electrons and protons and wrongly said that aluminium is the most reactive element.
Goa Forward Party is a regional political party in the western coastal Indian state of Goa,led by Vijai Sardesai. The GFP fielded four candidates in the 2017 Goa Assembly election and won three seats. He served as the Police Commissioner of Mumbai and the Director General (DG) of the Maharashtra Home Guard. Following the filing of extortion cases against him,he was untraceable,and was declared as absconding by a Mumbai Magistrate Court. Singh was suspended from his present position as The DG of the Home Guard because of his absence by the government of Maharashtra.
