Dilshot Khalmatov (born 7 March 1998) is a Ukrainian judoka and sambist. [1] [2] He represented Ukraine at the 2024 Summer Olympics.

Career

Khalmatov started his senior international career in 2021 when he competed at the 2021 World Judo Championships where he lost to Mongolian Lkhagvajamtsyn Önöbold in the first bout. At the 2022 European Judo Championships, Khalmatov defeated Italian Angelo Pantano but lost to Lukhumi Chkhvimiani from Georgia in the round of 16. The 2022 World Judo Championships were not successful for him, since he lost to Mohammad Rashnonezhad from the Refugee Team in the round of 32. At the 2023 European Judo Championships, Khalmatov won silver after he lost to Luka Mkheidze from France in the final. He is silver medallist of the 2022 Judo Grand Slam Baku, silver medallist of the 2023 Judo Grand Prix Linz, winner of the 2023 Judo Grand Prix Zagreb and bronze medallist of the 2024 Judo Grand Prix Linz.

Khalmatov qualified though ratings for the 2024 Summer Olympics. In Paris, he defeated Doston Ruziev from Uzbekistan but lost to the eventual Olympic champion Yeldos Smetov from Kazakhstan. [3]

Khalmatov studied at the Hlukhiv National Pedagogical University of Oleksandr Dovzhenko.

Daria Hennadiyivna Bilodid is a Ukrainian judoka. She is the 2019 World and the 2019 European gold medalist in the 48 kg division. In 2021, she won one of the bronze medals in the women's 48 kg event at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She is also the 2024 European gold medalist in the 57 kg division.

Baruch Shmailov is an Israeli Olympic judoka. He competes in the under 66 kg weight category, and won a gold medal in the 2022 World Masters in Jerusalem. Shmailov also won a bronze in the 2017 World Masters, as well as a silver at the 2018 World Masters. As of December 2022, Shmailov was ranked #3 in -66 kg weight category. He competed for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics, finishing in fifth place in the individual competition and winning a bronze medal in the mixed team. He has reached a high world ranking of third in 2019, 2022, and 2024. Shmailov is representing Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 66 kg event, and in the mixed team event which will take place on August 3.

Tohar Butbul is an Israeli Olympic judoka. He competes in the under 73 kg weight category, where he won silver medals at the 2019 Judo World Masters and the 2021 European Championships, and won bronze medals in the 2017 Paris Grand Slam and 2017 Abu Dhabi Grand Slam. As of March 2018 he was ranked #9 in the world in the U73 kg division. He was a member of the Israeli team that won a bronze medal at the Tokyo Olympics. Butbul will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 73 kg event on 29 July 2024, and in the mixed team event.

Peter Paltchik is a Ukrainian-born Israeli former European champion and Olympic judoka, competing in the under 100 kg weight category, of which he is the current number 1 ranked Judoka in the world. Paltchik won the bronze medal at the 2018 European Judo Championships in Tel Aviv. In 2019 he won the Israeli championship in the 100+ Kg category. He then won the gold medal at the 2020 European Judo Championships in Prague. Paltchik also won a bronze medal in the mixed team judo competition in the 2021 Olympics. At the 2023 World Judo Championships he won a bronze medal. Paltchik will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the men's 100 kg event on 1 August 2024, in the mixed team event and will be the flag bearer of his country with the female Olympic swimmer Andrea Murez.

Li Kochman is an Israeli judoka. He competes in the under 90 kg weight category, and won a silver medal in the 2019 European Judo Championships.

Shirine Boukli is a French judoka. She won one of the bronze medals in the women's 48 kg event at the 2024 Summer Olympics held in Paris, France. And the gold medal in the women's 48 kg event at the European Judo Championships in 2020, 2022 and 2023.

She competed for Israel at the 2020 Summer Olympics, winning a bronze medal in mixed team. She is the 2024 European Champion. Hershko won the silver medal in judo in the women's +78 kg representing Israel at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Gili Sharir is an Israeli judoka and Olympic bronze medalist, having won a bronze medal in mixed team event at the 2020 Summer Olympics. Sharir also won a bronze at the mixed team event of the 2022 World Championships. At the European Championships, she won a bronze medal in 2022 and a silver medal in 2023. Sharir will represent Israel at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris in judo in the women's 63 kg on 30 July 2024, and in the mixed team event.

Vitalii Dudchyk is a former male Ukrainian judoka. He is a bronze medalist of the 2015 European Games in the team event and a bronze medalist of the 2013 European Championships in the team event as well. In the individual competition at the 2015 European Games, Dudchyk defeated Szabolcs Krizsán from Hungary, Adrián Nacimiento from Spain, but lost to the eventual silver medallist Ivan Nifontov from Russia. Dudchyk lost in the first repechage round to the eventual bronze medallist Loïc Pietri from France, thus placing 7th at the Games.

Vadym Synyavsky is a male Ukrainian former judoka. He is a bronze medalist of the 2015 European Games in the judo men's team event and a bronze medalist of both the 2012 and 2017 European Championships in the team events as well. In the individual competition at the 2015 European Games, Synyavsky lost in the round of 32 to Nikoloz Sherazadishvili from Spain.

Yelyzaveta Anatoliivna Lytvynenko is a Ukrainian judoka. She is a 2022 World bronze medalist in the ‍–‍78 kg division.
