Ghulami (transl. Slavery) is a 1985 Indian Hindi-language action drama film directed by J. P. Dutta. The film features an ensemble cast of Dharmendra, Mithun Chakraborty, Mazhar Khan, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, Raza Murad, Reena Roy, Smita Patil, Anita Raj, Naseeruddin Shah and Om Shivpuri. Lyrics were by Gulzar and music by Laxmikant–Pyarelal, the latter of whom would go on to collaborate with Dutta in all his films until Kshatriya (1993). It was shot at Fatehpur, Rajasthan. Amitabh Bachchan narrated the film.
Hathyar: Face to Face with Reality is a 2002 Indian Hindi-language action crime thriller film directed by Mahesh Manjrekar. The film is a sequel to Vaastav (1999). It stars Sanjay Dutt, Shilpa Shetty and Sharad Kapoor. Hathyar begins where Vaastav had ended and focuses on the son of Raghu bhai, Boxer bhai, also played by Dutt.
Akayla (transl. Alone) is a 1991 Hindi-language action thriller film directed by Ramesh Sippy and produced by the Mushir - Riaz duo. It featured an ensemble cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Jackie Shroff, Amrita Singh, Meenakshi Sheshadri, Aditya Pancholi, Kiran Juneja, Keith Stevenson as the primary antagonist in a dual role, and Shashi Kapoor in an extended special appearance. It was the fourth and final collaboration between Bachchan and Ramesh Sippy after Sholay (1975), Shaan (1980) and Shakti (1982). It also marked the former's last onscreen collaboration with Sheshadri and Kapoor and his first one with Shroff, they would later work together in films like Eklavya (2007) and Sarkar 3 (2017). Also, it was the second time Singh and Sheshadri featured together, the first film being Toofan (1989) which also starred Bachchan in the lead role. It was loosely based on Dirty Harry (1971).
Mard is a 1998 Indian Hindi-language Indian action film directed by Ganpati Bohra and produced by Sunil Kumar Bohra, starring Mithun Chakraborty, Kader Khan, Gulshan Grover, Raza Murad, Shakti Kapoor and Ravali. Mard was a hit as it was profitable for both the Producers and the distributors. Mithun delivered another brilliant performance in the movie and proved that why his movies worked despite being low budget.

The film's theme is based on the 1990 film Hard to Kill and was later remade as Ram Shastra. It grossed over ₹6.74 crore worldwide becoming a super hit at the box office.
