Kumiko Kōda, known professionally as Koda Kumi, is a Japanese singer from Kyoto, known for her urban and R&B songs.
Akina Nakamori is a Japanese singer and actress. She is one of the most popular and best-selling artists in Japan. Akina achieved national recognition after winning the 1981 season of the talent show Star Tanjō!. Her debut single "Slow Motion" was released to moderate success, peaking at number thirty on the Oricon Weekly Singles Chart. Nakamori's popularity increased with the release of her follow-up single, "Shōjo A", which peaked at number five on the Oricon charts and sold over 390,000 copies. Her second album Variation became her first number-one on the Oricon Weekly Albums Chart, staying in that position for three weeks.
A is an extended play (EP) by Japanese recording artist Ayumi Hamasaki. It was released by Avex Trax in Japan and Hong Kong on August 11, 1999, in 10 different editions, and through Avex Entertainment Inc. worldwide in September 2008. It additionally served as a single from her second studio album Loveppears (1999), and is her first single marketed as an EP. The 12-track EP contains four new original songs: "Monochrome", "Too Late", "Trauma", and "End Roll", and eight remixes. Outgrow is the fourth Japanese studio album by South Korean recording artist BoA. It was released through Avex Trax on February 15, 2006, and features the singles "Do the Motion", "Make a Secret", "Dakishimeru", and "Everlasting". The album also features the track "First Snow" from BoA's special digital single, "Merry Christmas from BoA". Several of the album's songs have either been written or composed by BoA herself.
Dolce is the sixth studio album Japanese singer Ami Suzuki. Avex Trax released it in Japan on February 6, 2008, in a variety of formats. Max Matsuura executive produced Dolce, and is the second and final instalment of her "Join" series, which follows her previous album Connetta (2007). The "Join" series features a number of different producers and artists who worked together on various tracks from the album and appear as featured artists. Musically, Dolce is an upbeat dance record with house and j-pop influences.
Touch Me! is Japanese singer-songwriter Mai Kuraki's eighth studio album, which was released on January 21, 2009, in Japan by her record label Northern Music. The album was released in two formats; the regular single CD version and a limited CD+DVD version, whose content contained a behind the scenes look at the making of the album, as well an interview and clips from her 2008 tour. The album follows the same pattern as "One Life", in which Kuraki collaborated with new composers.

The first press bonuses for the limited press DVD included four music videos, a photograph collection, two postcards, and special first press packaging, as well as an external bonus, a poster. This album, like Meg's last two albums, is produced by Yasutaka Nakata of capsule.

Recording and writing for the album roughly began in the summer of 2013. With is described to be an album composed of nostalgic dance-pop songs that are influenced by disco and jazz, accompanied by marching drumbeats. Its lyrical content explores the general concept of love and friendship.
Wake Up is the first Japanese and second overall studio album by South Korean boy band BTS. It was released in Japan on December 24, 2014, through Pony Canyon. Fine Collection: Begin Again is the second Japanese greatest hits album by South Korean pop duo Tohoshinki. It was released on October 25, 2017 through Avex Trax as a complementary album for their comeback Japanese concert the Begin Again Tour, the duo's first tour since completing their military service. The album mainly contains singles released by Tohoshinki since 2011, including tracks from the albums Tone (2011), Time (2013), Tree (2014), and With (2015). The album also includes three re-recorded versions of earlier singles.
Fixer is the 24th studio album by Japanese singer Akina Nakamori and first studio album to be released during the 2010s. It was released on 30 December 2015 under the Universal Music Japan label. It's Nakamori's first original albums after a hiatus of six years.
Time Flies is the first greatest hits and second overall compilation album by Japanese idol girl group Nogizaka46. It was released on December 15, 2021, through N46Div., and Sony Music Records, two years and nine months after its predecessor studio album, Ima ga Omoide ni Naru made (2019) for the tenth-anniversary celebration of the group.
