Dimitri Delibes (born 17 March 1999) is a French rugby union player, who currently plays as a wing or a centre for Toulouse in the Top 14 and the Heineken Champions Cup.

Early life

Born in Toulouse, Dimitri Delibes started rugby for renowned local club Blagnac at the age of six, and then joined Toulouse academy in 2018. [1]

Club career

Delibes made his professional debut with Toulouse on 1 November 2020 in a loss at Stade Français, during the 2020–21 Top 14 season. [2]

He later won that season the 2020–21 European Rugby Champions Cup and the 2020–21 Bouclier de Brennus, [3] having played five Top 14 games and one European game, [4] at Munster in round of 16 on 3 April 2021. [5]

International career

On 30 October 2022, Delibes was first called by Fabien Galthié to the France national team for the Autumn internationals. [6]

The Stade Ernest-Wallon is a multi-purpose stadium located in the Sept Deniers district of Toulouse, in southwestern France. Described as a "temple to the oval ball", it is the home ground for the rugby union club Stade Toulousain and the rugby league club Toulouse Olympique.

The Toulouse International Rugby Masters were two international rugby union tournaments organised by Toulouse rugby club. The first, held in 1986 and known as the "Matra Espace or Matra Masters" for sponsorship reasons, is sometimes informally referred to as the first World Club Championships due to the participants within the competition representing seven clubs and one touring side from seven countries across three continents. The second tournament, held in 1990 and referred to as the Centenary Masters, marked the centenary of the club. Toulouse were the champions of both editions.
