Dinesh Chandra Dakua was a Indian politician from West Bengal. He won six times as an member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly in 1977, 1982,1987, 1991, 1996 and 2001 from Mathabhanga Assembly constituency in Cooch Behar district. Dakua was a member of the Communist Party of India (Marxist). He also served as the cabinet minister for Tourism in the Second Bhattacharjee ministry. [1] [2] [3]
