The Dinka-Nuer languages are a subgroup of the Western Nilotic languages spoken in South Sudan and Ethiopia. ^[2]

History

Christopher Ehret positions the homeland of Proto-Dinka-Nuer near the confluence of the Bahr el Ghazal River in 500BC. ^[3]
