The Anglican Diocese of St Arnaud was a diocese of the Church of England in Australia (now the Anglican Church of Australia [1] ), in the Mallee and Wimmera regions of north-west Victoria. [2] [3] It was created in 1926 out of the Diocese of Ballarat [4] and named after the town of St Arnaud. In 1976 it was amalgamated into the Diocese of Bendigo. [5]

Cathedral

The Cathedral was Christ Church, St Arnaud, now known as Christ Church Old Cathedral. [20] The Old Cathedral was designed by F M Moore and built in 1864, in an unpainted brick, Victorian Early English Gothic style. [21]

Anglican Diocese of Bendigo

The Anglican Diocese of Bendigo is a diocese of the Anglican Church of Australia. It is situated in the Bendigo region of the state of Victoria, Australia. Its geographic remit extends from that part of Victoria that lies north of the Great Dividing Range and west of the Goulburn River to the border with the state of South Australia. The diocesan cathedral is St Paul's Cathedral, Bendigo. The diocese was separated from the Diocese of Melbourne in 1902, with Henry Archdall Langley installed as the first bishop. The current bishop, Matt Brain, was installed on 17 February 2018.

Lowther Clarke

Henry Lowther Clarke was the fourth Anglican bishop and first archbishop of Melbourne, Australia.

Ralph David Farrer is a retired Anglican bishop. He was formerly the Bishop of Wangaratta in the Anglican Church of Australia and more recently a vicar in the Church of England.

St John's College, Morpeth, known colloquially as the Poor Man's College, Armidale, was opened in Armidale in 1898 as a theological college to train clergy to serve in the Church of England in Australia. It moved to Morpeth in 1926; and closed in 2006.

Ss Peter and Paul Cathedral is an Anglican cathedral in Dogura, Papua New Guinea. It was consecrated in 1939, just after the outbreak of WWII. It is the seat of the Bishop of Dogura in the Anglican Church of Papua New Guinea.
