Disturbia is the second EP by Australian metalcore band Void of Vision, released on 10 November 2017 by UNFD. It is their first EP released under label. It was self-produced by the band with assistance from Drew Fulk. The EP did not feature bassist Matt Thompson despite his last performance being after its release.
On 9 November 2017, the single "Ghost in the Machine" was released alongside an accompanying music video. [1] The EP was then released the next day. From 17–25 November, Void of Vision co-headlined with Woolongong metalcore band Graves for their farewell tour. They performed at venues across Brisbane, Newcastle, Sydney, Wollongong, Adelaide and Melbourne. [2]
On 12 January 2018, Disturbia received a limited physical release of 500 vinyl EPs. [3]
"Spite" was described as being a statement of "Look what you’ve done to you and I" and as "is waves of aggression with a certain someone being dealt a brutal serve." "Ghost in the Machine" is described as being about one's personal demons trying to stay hidden and self-reflection. "You Will Bring Me Down" chronicles a relationship gone sour and the need to erase everything about them. "Grey Area" was likened to giving a "You’re going to watch what you’ve done to me" vibe. [4]
Speaking on how all the song's connect, vocalist Jack Bergin said: "There is no particular theme for the EP, this was really for an experience I wanted myself to have, seeking the hopeful relief of facing my own demons. In the most unselfish way possible, I wrote this EP for myself, because I needed to." [4] The EP's genre has been described as metalcore and hardcore. [5] [6]

The EP received positive reviews. Jonty Cornford from KillYourStereo in a mostly positive review said: "With two great tracks, one decent track and one disappointment, ‘Disturbia’ does fall short of expectations for me, but there is still a lot to be loved here." [6] Beat magazine gave it a positive review and said: "Less surprising is that it meets these expectations with flying colours and manages to do so with just four songs." [7] Metal Noise criticised it for being too short, however praising it: "at four songs it leaves you wanting more." [8]
In a positive review from Depth magazine, Kel Burch said: "Void Of Vision have done an impressive job of keeping intensity high and messages sincere through the entire of Disturbia." [4]

UNFD is an independent record label based in Melbourne, Australia. The label is home to a number of Australian artists including Thornhill, Ocean Grove, Hellions and In Hearts Wake, and international artists ERRA, Stray From the Path, Silverstein, Invent Animate, and more. The label has offices in London and Los Angeles.
Skydancer is the third studio album by Australian metalcore band In Hearts Wake. It was released on 1 May 2015 through UNFD and Rise Records. It was produced by Josh Schroeder, Dan Brown and Troy Brady. It is the continuation of their second studio album Earthwalker. The album peaked at No. 2 at official ARIA Charts. It's the last album to feature Caleb Burton as a writer, with his departure following the release of Skydancer. Nic Pettersen of Northlane played drums on the album, with Caleb being unable to secure a US Visa in time to record the album; producer Josh Schroeder revealed on Reddit that he was originally going to track drums for both Earthwalker and Skydancer, going as far as writing the drum tracks for both records and practicing as a touring member for the upcoming shows close to his studio.
Invent Animate is an American metalcore band formed in Port Neches, Texas, in 2011. The group consists of vocalist Marcus Vik, lead guitarist Keaton Goldwire, rhythm guitarist Trey Celaya, bassist Caleb Sherraden, and drummer Brody Taylor Smith. They self-released their debut EP titled Waves on March 13, 2012. After a number of regional tours and increasing popularity in the online djent community, the band was signed up by Tragic Hero Records in February 2014. The band announced they would release their debut studio album titled Everchanger on August 26, 2014. Their sophomore album, Stillworld, was released on July 8, 2016. Their third album and first with Marcus Vik, Greyview, was released on March 13, 2020. Their most recent studio album, Heavener, was released through their new label, UNFD, on March 17, 2023.
Ocean Grove are an Australian nu metal band formed in 2010. The band consists of vocalist Dale Tanner, drummer/producer Sam Bassal and bassist/vocalist Twiggy Hunter. Studio-only member Running Touch also provides synthesizers and additional production.
The Rhapsody Tapes is the debut studio album by Australian nu metal band Ocean Grove. it was released on 3 February 2017 through UNFD Records. Their first single "These Boys Light Fires" was released on 1 December 2016. followed by another single "Intimate Alien" which was released on 21 December 2016 along with the music video for the single and the pre-order for the album. The album reached #5 on the ARIA Albums Chart in its first week of release, and was selected as a "Feature Album" by Australian radio station Triple J almost two weeks ahead of the album's release.
Mesmer is the fourth studio album by Australian heavy metal band Northlane. It was released on 24 March 2017 through UNFD, with no announcement prior to the release. It was produced by David Bendeth and recorded at The Barber Shop Studio in Hopatcong. It follows the group's slight departure from their metalcore roots and towards a more alternative and experimental sound, as established on their previous release, Node. It peaked at No. 3 on the ARIA Albums Chart. It is the last Northlane album to feature their founding bassist Alex Milovic as a member of the band.

Mono is the debut studio album by Australian metalcore band Alpha Wolf. It was released on 14 July 2017 through Greyscale Records. The first single "#104" was released on 13 March 2017, followed by another single "Golden Fate; Gut Ache" which was released on 30 May 2017, along with the pre-order for the album. The album debuted at No. 29 on the ARIA Albums Chart in its first week of release.

It also marks the group's first shift into different genres, as they blended into the album elements of nu metal, industrial metal and EDM. This is the last album to feature their founding bassist Alex Milovic, who only appeared on the track "Vultures".
Spawn (Again): A Tribute to Silverchair is a compilation album by various artists, released by UNFD on 17 November 2017. The album is composed of cover songs as a tribute to the Australian rock band, Silverchair.
Hyperdaze is the second studio album by Australian metalcore band Void of Vision. It was released on 13 September 2019 by UNFD. It was produced by Northlane guitarist Jon Deiley and Lance Prenc, and recorded at Prenc's home studio in Kinglake.
Equinox is a collaborative EP by Australian heavy metal band Northlane and metalcore band In Hearts Wake. It was released on 20 April 2016 through UNFD. It was produced by Will Putney and recorded in January 2016 at Holes and Corners recording studio in Southbank, Victoria, although the drumming was recorded at Sing Sing Recording Studios in South Yarra. It peaked at No. 75 on the ARIA Charts.

Thornhill are an Australian heavy metal band from Melbourne, formed in 2015. The band currently consists of vocalist Jacob Charlton, guitarist Ethan McCann, drummer Ben Maida, and bass guitarist Nick Sjogren.
