Dorival Caymmi was a Brazilian singer, songwriter, actor, and painter active for more than 70 years beginning in 1933. He contributed to the birth of Brazil's bossa nova movement, and several of his samba pieces, such as "Samba da Minha Terra", "Doralice" and "Saudade da Bahia", have become staples of música popular brasileira. Equally notable are his ballads celebrating the fishermen and women of Bahia, including "Promessa de Pescador", "O Que É Que a Baiana Tem?", and "Milagre". Caymmi composed about 100 songs in his lifetime, and many of his works are now considered to be Brazilian classics. Both Brazilian and non-Brazilian musicians have covered his songs.
"Fos" is an EP by Greek artist, Helena Paparizou. It was released on 18 May 2007 by Sony BMG Greece and was featured as a bonus CD on the repackaged Yparhi Logos: Platinum Edition album. The CD single contains "Fos", along with four other new tracks, including "Mazi Sou" and a cover of "Le Temps des Fleurs". "Mazi Sou" is the only original song on the EP, the rest are covers.

In 2010, after posting a video on YouTube, Renato Azevedo, then producer of the independent record company Furacão 2000, called her to sign a contract with the label. Due to the success of the song "Meiga e Abusada" in 2012, she signed a contract with Warner Music Brasil the following year.

Alice Caymmi is a Brazilian singer and composer. She is the granddaughter of Dorival Caymmi, daughter of Danilo and Simone Caymmi and niece of Nana and Dori Caymmi.
Alice Caymmi is the debut album by Brazilian artist of same name, released in 2012, produced by Flávio Mendes, with Caymmi being the art director herself. She described the album as follows: "The album has an aquatic environment, a reference to my grandfather, to the mythic sea he created. But I like the more obscure things. I brought the more tragic side of his songs, the night sea, darker. [...] Not that I feel I am the avant-guarde-ist, but I want out of the comfort zone. I could have made the album one would expect from the young granddaughter of Caymmi. But there would be no album, it wouldn't be so emotional. For this album, I wanted the noise, the noise language. I don't think I made it, because the songs didn't have this head. But I tried to bring them to this tragic, noisy environment of sea, of night". Originally, the album would be entirely performed by Alice alone and would feature seven tracks. However, producer Flávio Mendes convinced her to enlarge the track list and invite more musicians.
Rainha dos Raios is the second album by Brazilian singer Alice Caymmi, released on 9 September 2014. It is her first album via Joia Moderna and with producer Diogo Strausz. While her previous album, Alice Caymmi, consisted mostly of original songs and two covers, Rainha dos Raios does the opposite and brings covers and two original tracks. According to Caymmi, this shift came after a few changes she went through - she said she is no longer performing songs from the previous album. She commented:
It's my album, and, without trying to be a showoff, I listen to it a lot, because it says a lot about my life. I did this album thinking of what I stop to listen to, the things I like to listen to and the way I like to do it. It looks like I made the album for me. I laugh, play and remind of many moments.
Pior Cenário Possível is the seventh studio album by Brazilian cowpunk band Matanza. It is the first album by the band to have two guitarists and it is also the last to feature bassist China. It was recorded at Tambor Studios, in Rio de Janeiro, and it was produced by Rafael Ramos, who also produced Nheengatu by Titãs and Setevidas by Pitty. It was released on 14 April 2015. All instruments were recorded simultaneously.

It was almost entirely produced by Zé Nigro and the band itself at Estúdio Navegantes in São Paulo, São Paulo. The single "Calor da Rua" was produced by Curumin, who introduced the band to Nigro. The album features guest performances of Liniker and Apanhador Só.
"Brother" is a song by the American rock band Alice in Chains and the opening track on their 1992 acoustic EP Sap. The song was written by guitarist and vocalist Jerry Cantrell for his younger brother, David. Cantrell sings lead vocals in the song, while Heart lead singer Ann Wilson sings backing vocals. An acoustic version performed on Alice in Chains' MTV Unplugged in 1996 was released in a live album and DVD. The song was included on the compilation albums Music Bank (1999) and The Essential Alice in Chains (2006).
Unlikely is the second album by Brazilian stoner rock band Far from Alaska, released on 4 August 2017. It was recorded in the United States, produced by Sylvia Massy and financed via a crowdfunding campaign. It is their last album with bassist Edu Filgueira, who left the band in January 2018.

Preço Curto... Prazo Longo is the second studio album by Brazilian alternative rock band Charlie Brown Jr.. Like its predecessor, it was released through Virgin Records on March 6, 1999, and produced by Rick Bonadio and Tadeu Patolla. Totaling 25 tracks, it is Charlie Brown Jr.'s longest album; in an interview, vocalist Chorão explained that Preço Curto... Prazo Longo was recorded out of necessity, so the band could have more repertoire for the set list of their shows. Six of the album's tracks had previously appeared as teasers in the promotional EP Aquele Luxo!, released some months prior.
