Dogleg was an American post-hardcore band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 2015. They released their debut album, Melee in 2020 to critical acclaim. The band was fronted by Alex Stoitsiadis as lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist, with Chase Macinski on bass, Parker Grissom on guitar, and Jacob Hanlon on drums.
Dogleg's origins begin in late 2015 when lead singer Alex Stoitsiadis started the project as a solo project. [1] Stoitsiadis said of the formation that "[he] didn't really expect anything from it. I just wanted to write because there wasn't much creative freedom in my other bands I used to be in. I just felt like I couldn't write the songs I wanted to write, so I was like, I'm just going to sit down, write as many songs as I can before I don't have this space in my parents' basement anymore, record, and just put it out there and see what happens." In 2016, Stoitsiadis moved from his hometown of Rochester Hills, Michigan to Ann Arbor to attend college at the University of Michigan. Stoitsiadis began working on and released the self-titled EP, Dogleg in 2016. [1] The name of the EP and band is borrowed from "the greatest band to ever come from Michigan, Bear vs. Shark, and their song "Broken Dog Leg." [1] In early 2016, Parker Grissom, who was still in high school joined Dogleg part time. Come summer 2016, Grissom joined the band full-time. The band began playing regular shows at Metal Frat, or Sigma Phi, which was a Michigan-based fraternity known for its basement shows. The same shows were where contemporaries such as Brave Bird, La Dispute, and Pity Sex began. Later that year with the new lineup, Dogleg recorded and released their second EP, Remember Alderaan?.
Throughout 2017, Dogleg began touring across Michigan, [2] and in 2018, the band began playing shows across the Midwest, particularly in cities, such as Akron, Chicago, and Indianapolis. Later in 2018, the band represented Michigan at South by Southwest in Austin, Texas. [3] In 2019, Dogleg signed with Triple Crown Records, which led to the band recording their first full-length album. [4] On March 13, 2020, Dogleg released Melee, their debut album, which was met with critical acclaim. [5] [6] [7] [8]
In November 2021, the band announced they would embarking on North America tour in March/April 2022 supporting Touche Amore and Vein.fm alongside Foxtails and Thirdface on select dates.
On November 15, 2021, the band announced they would be entering a hiatus amid allegations of possessive behavior in relationships towards frontman Alex Stoitsiadis. [9]

Yellowcard is an American rock band that formed in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1997. The lineup currently consists of lead singer Ryan Key, lead guitarist Ryan Mendez, bassist Josh Portman and violinist Sean Mackin. Primarily a pop-punk group, their music is recognized for having a distinct sound in its genre, primarily due to the prominent use of a violin in their songs, and are best known for their singles "Ocean Avenue", "Only One", and "Lights and Sounds". Released in 2003, "Ocean Avenue" and its parent album of the same name are both certified double platinum in the US by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); "Only One" and the band's 2006 album Lights and Sounds have been certified gold. The band has released ten studio albums, with its most recent, Yellowcard, released on September 30, 2016. Following this release and supporting tour, the band broke up. The band reunited in September 2022 for a performance at Riot Fest and embarked on a 20th-anniversary tour for Ocean Avenue in 2023. A new EP, Childhood Eyes, was released on July 21, 2023.

The Transplants are an American punk rock/rap rock supergroup. They formed in 1999 when Tim Armstrong played his friend and roadie Rob Aston some beats he had made using Pro Tools and asked Aston if he would consider contributing lyrics. Initially, Armstrong played all the instruments himself, but as the project grew, he invited musician friends such as Matt Freeman, Lars Frederiksen (Rancid), and Vic Ruggiero to add to the sound. Before long, Armstrong and Aston decided to officially form a band, but to make things complete, they wanted a drummer, so Travis Barker from Blink-182 was asked to join in 2002.

William Ryan Key is an American musician. He is best known as the lead vocalist and rhythm guitarist of the rock band Yellowcard. He is the owner/operator of a recording studio in Jacksonville, Florida, called The Lone Tree Recordings. He is currently writing music under his full name, William Ryan Key, as a solo acoustic act and electronic act. He is also one half of JEDHA, an electronic duo consisting of himself and lead guitarist of Yellowcard, Ryan Mendez. He has recently toured as guitarist/vocalist/keyboardist for New Found Glory. In late 2018, he played as a supporting act on Mayday Parade's Sunnyland tour along with This Wild Life. During 2021, he live-streamed his songwriting process on Twitch full-time.
Heaven's Basement was an English rock band formed in 2008 and signed with Red Bull Records. Band members included Aaron Buchanan (vocals), Sid Glover, Rob Ellershaw, and Chris Rivers (drums). The band split up in January 2017.

Black Tide was an American heavy metal band from Kendall, Florida. Formed in 2004, the band last consisted of Gabriel Garcia, Austin Diaz and Cody Paige (drums). They released their debut album, Light from Above, on March 18, 2008 through Interscope Records when Garcia was 15 years old. Their second album, Post Mortem, was released on August 23, 2011. Black Tide's EP Bite the Bullet was released on November 12, 2013 by InnerCat Music Group, a Miami-based boutique label. On October 16, 2015 band released their last album Chasing Shadows. On July 22, 2016 Garcia announced on his Instagram that the band is over and he is concentrating on his solo project.
Billy Rymer is an American musician, most notable for being the drummer for The Dillinger Escape Plan from 2009 until the band played its final shows in December 2017, and again in 2024.
Basement are an English rock band formed in Ipswich, Suffolk, in 2009. Their debut studio album, I Wish I Could Stay Here, was released in 2011. The next year, Colourmeinkindness was released, charting on the US Billboard Top 200. After touring in support of Colourmeinkindness, the band went on hiatus in 2012. In 2014, they reunited to release the EP Further Sky. The next album, Promise Everything, charted in 2016 in Australia, the UK and the US. The band's fourth album, Beside Myself, was released in October 2018.

Further Sky is an EP by English rock band Basement. The band went on hiatus in July 2012, prior to the release of their second album Colourmeinkindness in October 2012. They began practicing again around Christmas 2013, composing the song "Jet". Whilst guitarist Alex Henery was in the United States, the rest of the band wrote another song, "Summer's Colour". In late January 2014, they announced the end of their musical hiatus. Along with a cover of the Suede song "Animal Nitrate", the group recorded the aforementioned original songs in early 2014. Recording was done in secret at Livingston Studio 1 in London, with producer Dan Goudie.

The band's lineup is largely fluid and variable, with singer-songwriter Evan Stephens Hall and drummer Zach Levine representing its core members. The two met as children and played in various bands before founding Pinegrove. The band's musical style, which uses instruments such as the banjo and pedal steel guitar, is commonly described as a mix between alt-country and emo. Pinegrove's early years were spent self-releasing music – including their debut album, Meridian (2012) – and performing do-it-yourself (DIY) house shows.
