Dominic Anthony Paoletti (born August 19, 2002), also professionally known as Dom Corleo, is an American rapper from Fremont, California. He is currently based in Phoenix, Arizona. [1] He first rose to fame with the release of his debut album, Forgive Me For My Sins, which released in 2022. [2]

Early life

Growing up, Paoletti predominantly lived in Sacramento, and the Bay Area. [3]

Early beginnings

Corleo started making music in 2017, but didn't take it seriously until 2020, where he began to post his music under the alias, pxpidom. Under this name, he would release tracks such as "trip 2 saks", and "Number Nine", with fellow rapper, SoFaygo. [3]

Career (2022-present)

In early 2022, Corleo would do away with his pxpidom moniker, and would establish himself as Dom Corleo. During this time, in 2022, he would also release his debut album, Forgive Me For My Sins, which helped establish Corleo's name within the underground rap scene. [2] Following the release of his album, Corleo would follow through with his biggest streamed single as of yet, "Penthouse Shordy", the track exploded in popularity throughout social media, such as TikTok, right after, he would release his track, "Ginseng", which would perform very well online too. [4] [5] Following "Ginseng", he would release "Bloody Runtz", showcasing his new wave voice and experimental audio. [5] He would also follow through with the release of "Fly As Hell", and "Converse", along with the song's debut, Corleo would release their own respective music videos too, featuring visuals from Dot-Com Nirvan. Entering the year 2023, Corleo would release his debut EP, 2014, the EP would have six songs, and features from rappers such as Lunchbox and Highway. The EP saw Corleo "[flow] over instrumentals flooded with chopped vocals, ethereal synths and rolling 808s", according to Our Generation Music's Claire Yotts. [7] After taking it slow for a few months, and releasing just a few singles, Corleo would release his second studio album, which would propel his name to even further heights than before, dubbed On My Own. The album featured 14 new tracks, and features from Yung Kayo, and Fimiguerrero. [4] Following the release, Corleo would follow through with the deluxe of his album, which would feature seven new tracks, with two featuring a reappearance from rapper, Yung Kayo. Following the release of his album, Corleo would keep quiet would only appear as a guest rapper for artists such as Killy, and Fourfive. [8]

Then, entering the year 2024, Corleo would release a couple of singles, but would follow through with his promotional single for his album, dubbed "duh duh duh", with Veeze. [9] Following the single's release, Corleo would release his third studio album, dubbed Under My Influence. [10] Following the album's release, Corleo would release one single, before following through with his EP, titled, DC. The EP features four new tracks. [11]

Following the EP's release. Corleo would enter 2025 releasing a handful of singles, with most of them being promotional single for his album. After releasing tracks, and building up promotional hype for the album, Corleo would release his fourth studio album, dubbed Club Siberia, which featured nine new tracks. Musical style

Early on in his career, Dom Corleo's sound was reminiscent to that of artists such as Autumn! and Summrs. His newer sound takes inspiration from cloud rap, which is reminiscent to artists such as Lancey Foux, and Destroy Lonely. [1]
