Doug Jackson is an American guitarist, singer and educator. He is a current member and guitarist/vocalist for the five-time Grammy Award nominated band Ambrosia. Jackson has released two solo albums, most recently in 2016.
Born in Texas, Jackson grew up in Evergreen, Colorado. He started playing guitar at age 6. He attended the Berklee College of Music. [1]
Jackson recorded with Roberto Carlos on several recordings in the early 1990s. He released his first solo album, Storm Chaser to good reviews [2] in 1995.
He has performed onstage with numerous notable musicians, including Kenny Loggins, Gary Wright and Al Stewart.
Currently, a member of the band Ambrosia, Jackson tours widely with the group, which he joined in 2000. [3] His second solo album, The Performance, was released in 2016. [4]
Doug Jackson is a faculty member of the Conservatory of Music at Biola University in Southern California, having been named to the position in 2002. [5]
Jackson is a current endorser of Reunion Blues music instrument cases and "gig bags." [6] He is a past endorser of Fender Guitars.
Cream were a British rock supergroup formed in London in 1966. The group consisted of bassist Jack Bruce, guitarist Eric Clapton and drummer Ginger Baker. Bruce was the primary songwriter and vocalist, although Clapton and Baker contributed to songs. Formed by members of previously successful bands, they are widely considered the first supergroup. Cream were highly regarded for the instrumental proficiency of each of their members.

He has also contributed to albums and hit singles as a songwriter, arranger and producer. Lukather has released nine solo albums, the latest of which, Bridges, was released in June 2023.
Elf was an American rock band founded in 1967 by singer and bassist Ronnie James Dio, keyboardist Doug Thaler, drummer Gary Driscoll, and guitarists Nick Pantas and David Feinstein. The band was originally called the Electric Elves, but was shortened to the Elves in 1968 and finally Elf in 1972. Elf disbanded in 1975 after recording three albums and after most of the lineup had been absorbed into the newly formed Ritchie Blackmore's Rainbow.
Richard Dale Kotzen Jr. is an American guitarist, singer, and songwriter. As a solo artist, Kotzen has a back catalogue of more than 20 album releases. He was a member of glam metal band Poison from 1991 to 1993, Mr. Big from 1999 to 2002, and since 2012, has been the frontman of the band The Winery Dogs. Kotzen was signed to California-based Shrapnel Records from 1988 to 1991, and again from 1995 to 1997.

Ambrosia is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1970. Ambrosia had five Top 40 hit singles released between 1975 and 1980, including the Top 5 hits "How Much I Feel" and "Biggest Part of Me", and Top 20 hits "You're the Only Woman " and "Holdin' on to Yesterday". Most of the original band members have been active with the group continuously since their 1989 reformation to the present day, with the notable exception of original guitarist and lead vocalist David Pack who left in 2000.
Jorma Ludwik Kaukonen Jr. is an American blues, folk, and rock guitarist. Kaukonen performed with Jefferson Airplane, and still performs regularly on tour with Hot Tuna, which started as a side project with bassist Jack Casady, and as of early 2024 has continued for 55 years. Douglas Theodore Pinnick, sometimes stylized as dUg Pinnick or simply dUg, is an American musician best known as the bass guitarist, co-lead vocalist, and songwriter for the hard rock and progressive metal band King's X. He has performed on 15 albums with King's X and recorded four solo albums. Pinnick has also participated in numerous side projects and has multiple guest appearances to his credit. He is recognized for his unique vocals, and heavily distorted bass tone. Pinnick often plays bass with a guitar pick, though he has also been seen using his fingers.

He founded the band Burning Rain with Keith St. John in 1998 and has played with Whitesnake, Dio, Lion, Hurricane, House of Lords, Bad Moon Rising and Revolution Saints. He is currently a member of The Dead Daisies. He has also released several solo albums. Doug toured with former Deep Purple bassist and vocalist Glenn Hughes' band in 2015. It was announced in early 2016 that he would be replacing Richard Fortus as guitarist of The Dead Daisies.
David Robert Pack is an American singer and musician best known as co-founder, lead vocalist, and guitarist of the rock band Ambrosia in the 1970s and 80s. Pack wrote and sang most of Ambrosia’s biggest hits, including “Biggest Part of Me”, “You're the Only Woman ”, and “How Much I Feel”.
