Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of Telangana is a training institute for civil servants and government officials of Government of Telangana located in Hyderabad, Telangana, India. [1]
MCRHRD offers a diverse range of training programs and courses, including short-term and long-term programs, in-person and online training, and customized programs for specific organizations or groups.
MCRHRD also conducts research, consultancy services, and policy analysis in the areas of human resource development, management, and governance.
The institute started as Institute of Administration in 1972. [2] It was renamed in 1998 after former Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh, Dr. Marri Chenna Reddy.
The institute is located on a verdant 45-acre campus. It was expanded in 2006 with 375 centrally air-conditioned rooms. It also has a helipad on its premises. It has a guesthouse with 15 rooms.
Rayalaseema is a geographic region in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It comprises four southern districts of the State, from prior to the districts reorganisation in 2022, namely Kurnool, Anantapur, YSR, and Chittoor. Ranga Reddy district is a district in the Indian state of Telangana. The district headquarters is located at Kongara Kalan Village, Ibrahimpatnam Mandal,. The district was named after the former deputy chief minister of the United Andhra Pradesh, K. V. Ranga Reddy. Marri Chenna Reddy was an Indian politician active in several states. He was the 6th Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh from 1978 to 1980 and from 1989 to 1990. He also served as the governor of Uttar Pradesh (1974–1977), governor of Punjab (1982–1983), governor of Rajasthan from February 1992 to May 1993, and governor of Tamil Nadu from 1993 until his death. He was a leader of Indian National Congress Party.

Government City College(ప్రభుత్వ సిటీ కళాశాల) (Autonomous),Hyderabad is an Under Graduate and Post-Graduate autonomous college located in Hyderabad. The campus is one of the oldest Heritage structures in Hyderabad. Government City College has been re-accredited with 'B++' grade by National Assessment and Accreditation Council. It has been conferred with autonomy by the University Grants Commission, Osmania University and the Telangana State Government since 2004. The college has adopted CBCS since the academic year 2014–15. Its centenary celebrations were observed with cultural programmes on 25, 26 and 27 August 2022.
The Centre for Economic and Social Studies (CESS) is an Indian autonomous research institute, established in 1980 to facilitate research activity in Economics and Social Sciences. P. V. R. K. Prasad, was an Indian civil servant who served as Media Advisor to the Prime Minister of India, P. V. Narasimha Rao from 1991 to 1996. Prasad is an Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officer belonging to 1966 batch of Andhra Pradesh cadre. He held several important posts in the center and state including media advisor to former Indian prime minister P. V. Narasimha Rao, executive officer (EO) of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams, and Director General of Dr. Marri Channa Reddy Human Resource Development Institute of Telangana. He brought a lot of reforms in the management of Tirumala temple to make it more people friendly. He continued to be an advisor of this temple even after retiring as an executive officer. He wrote several books about his experience working in with P. V. Narasimha Rao and working as an executive officer of Tirumala temple.
Andhra Pradesh, retrospectively referred to as United Andhra Pradesh, Undivided Andhra Pradesh, and Combined Andhra Pradesh, was a state in India formed by States Reorganisation Act, 1956 with Hyderabad as its capital and was reorganised by Andhra Pradesh Reorganisation Act, 2014. The state was made up of three distinct cultural regions of Telangana, Rayalaseema, and Coastal Andhra. Before the 1956 reorganisation, Telangana had been part of Hyderabad State, whereas Rayalaseema and Coastal Andhra had been part of Andhra State, formerly a part of Madras Presidency ruled by British India.
