Dreaming is the debut extended play by South Korean girl group April. The album was released digitally and physically on August 24, 2015 and contains six tracks with the lead single, "Dream Candy". It marks leader Somin's only release prior to her departure from the group on November 9, 2015 due to her wish of continuing with her studies.
On February 9, 2015, DSP media announced that they will debut a girl group that will be the next generation of Fin.K.L and Kara. [1]
In July 2015, DSP Media announced the members of April through a series of teasers along with the group's logo and mascot, which was chosen through an open logo contest. [2] [3] [4] In early August 2015, DSP Media confirmed that April would debut on August 24 with the mini-album Dreaming. [5]
On August 24, 2015, the group debuted through Naver's V App through their showcase "April Debut Showcase–Live", during which they released the mini-album Dreaming. [6] [7]
On August 24, 2015, April released the music video for the EP's lead single, "Dream Candy" (Korean : 꿈사탕). [8] They had their debut stage on the show on August 25. On September 11, 2015, April released a special choreography music video of lead single "Dream Candy", filmed in downtown Seoul. [9]

A-Jax was a South Korean boy band formed by DSP Media in 2012. Early in their career, the group was known as DSP Boyz but then was changed to A-Jax. The group's final lineup was composed of five members: Hyeongkon, Yunyoung, Seungjin, Seungyeop, and Junghee. They made the first appearance on TV as a group on MBC Music's Making the Star – DSP Boyz on April 24, 2012. The group made its official debut with the single "One 4 U" in South Korea on June 1 and in Japan on August 8, 2012 with the same song.
4L was a South Korean girl group formed in 2014 by Jade Contents Media. The group debuted on August 1, 2014, with their first and only single Move. The group disbanded in 2016.

Yoon Chae-kyung, is a South Korean singer and actress. Yoon began her career with debuted as a member of Puretty under DSP in Japan during 2012 and the group later disbanded in January 2014. Following the disbandment, Yoon appeared as a contestant in the 2014 Kara's reality show for searching a new member Kara Project. She also appeared in the reality show Produce 101 and later in the mockumentary series The God of Music 2 which she became a member of project group C.I.V.A and also joined the fan-made group of Produce 101, I.B.I both respectively in 2016. Yoon later was added as a member of the DSP girl group April in 2017 and participated in group activities until their disbandment in 2022.
Prelude is the third Korean extended play by South Korean girl group April. It was released on January 4, 2017 by DSP Media and distributed by LOEN Entertainment. It marks the group's first comeback as a six member-group with the addition of Chaekyung and Rachel.
